SPORTS RESULTS
Flippaball
The flippaball team is off to an amazing 3rd term. with many
players really stretching themselves and trying super hard.
On 7th of August we won both games played, the first against Te
Rapa Torpedoes and with a convincing 9:4 win, Kaiden got player
of the day for amazing defensive work. Our second game was
against newcomers Rototuna and we won 12:1 and Chelsea also
got player of the day for her wonderful defensive work. Nicole got
Last weekend the Pukete Squirrels
played the Te Rapa Tigers and fought
their way to a 1-0 win! Mea scored our
goal and Samuel put in another great
effort. They are all playing so well, that
all the grown ups chose a different
child for player of the day! This is
reflective of Trisha's wonderful
coaching. This week though, Kelsey
was our awesome player of the day
for her fierce tackling and attacking
skills. Keep up the good work Squirrels!
On Saturday Pukete Seals played Te Totara Lightening and won
9-0. Emily scored 5 goals, George 2 goals, Gurkirat scored 1 goal
and Nicole scored 1 goal. Flynn did some good running and
helped Emily score some wonderful goals. Hannah did some good
attacking against the other team too. Brianna almost scored a goal
just missing by a hair, then someone decided to make a
tackle. The player of the day went to Gurkirat for his great running
and some fabulous attacking. He was in the right place at the right
time. Well done Gurkirat! This week we play Tamahere Green at
9.30am.
