The transition between speakers is
smooth with minimal time delay. The
presentation effectively addresses the
required topic and is enhanced by the
individual ‘style’ of each team member
(offers variety to the audience).
Contribution
Team member contributed to the project
but this contribution may not be equal to
other team members. Meeting records
indicate active contribution by the member
at all meetings including some feedback
on overall project progress; and
documents ‘ progress independent work
however this work required input from
other team members prior to completion.
Role
The team member has successfully
fulfilled their specific role, as evidenced in
the meeting records and by a successful
end product. For example if the team
member was the ‘information gatherer’,
the end product was based upon highly
reputable and validated research findings.
Negotiation skills
The meeting minutes document evidence
of the team member negotiating up or
down their role or contribution to the
project, resulting in an effective outcome
from that team member.
Conflict resolution
If conflict arose, the team documented the
factors contributing to the conflict and
removed the conflict by re-negotiating
roles or contributions of team members.
The conflict may have adversely affected
the quality of the outcome however the
outcome was still achieved on-schedule.
Overall presentation
The powerpoint design and content
(formatting, colours, amount of content,
grammar were similar across all
presenters. The presentation had a clear
introduction, aim, body and conclusion
however the transition between speakers
and the link between ‘sections’ may not
have been smooth/clear..
The presentation effectively addresses the
required topic however the presenters did
not necessarily ‘build’ on the previous
presenters’ section.
Contribution
Meeting records indicate attendance
at most group meetings and active
contribution to the project either at
team meetings or to independent
work, but not necessarily both. This
contribution results in the completion
of the team members’ specific
responsibility to the project but may
not contribute to items that are the
responsibility of other team members.
Role
The team member voluntarily
nominated themself for a specific role
within the team, and this is normally a
role that they feel confident in being
able to perform effectively.
Negotiation skills
The meeting minutes document
evidence of the team member
negotiating with other team members
which roles are required to fulfil the
specific project aim.
Conflict resolution
If conflict arose, the team members
documented the factors contributing to
the conflict; and the team members
resolved the conflict with the
assistance of an external facilitator.
The conflict may have adversely
affected the quality of the outcome
and/or the completion date of the
project.
Overall presentation
The powerpoint design and content
(formatting, colours, amount of
content, grammar) varied across
presenters. While the aim was
identified and the topic was covered
sufficiently there may not have been a
concluding statement that ties in all
ideas presented by each team
member.
Contribution
Meeting records may not be kept.
The team member attended a
meeting where specific
roles/contributions were assigned.
The team member completed their
assigned task but did not
contribute beyond this.
Role
Each team member was assigned
a content-based task for the
project as opposed to a ‘role’. The
team member completed their
task as evidenced by the final
presentation outcome.
Negotiation skills
May not be evidenced.
Conflict resolution
If conflict arose, the team
members may not have been able
to identify the source of the
conflict with respect to the project
and therefore the conflict could not
be identified or solved without
external facilitation.
Overall presentation
While the topic was covered
sufficiently, perhaps with some
information missing, the
powerpoint design and content
(formatting, colours, amount of
content, grammar) and
presentation style varied
significantly across presenters
with no clear indication that team
members’ contributions were
integrated to achieve a
collaborative final product.
