As the warm weather approaches again, finally, please be attentive to the following item as we progress into the final two months of the school year. Dress Code: Pen High is a public building and in keeping with our professional image it is important to be cognizant of the image we present. Students should follow the following guidelines when preparing to come to school in the morning. • Very short shorts and very short skirt lengths • Too much skin: i. Stomachs, mid-riffs, backless shirts skin should not be visible. ii. Transparent tops, low cut tops, and beach wear are not considered appropriate school attire. • T-shirt logos and slogans: Please remember that the message or writing on your t-shirt should be in good taste. Images or words depicting or promoting offensive ideas may result in a referral to administration. • Bare feet: In the interest of hygiene be reminded that footwear should be worn at all times while in the building.
