DURHAM JUNIOR LACROSSE LEAGUE
Welcome to the official announcement of the Durham Junior Lacrosse
League. This is a joint venture between the Whitby Warriors JR A’s, Green Gaels
JR B’s, Clarington Shamrox and the Whitby Warriors JR C clubs. This 8-week winter
league will serve as a development league for all players eligible to play in 2017.
We expect this to be a very competitive league with excellent coaching with a
high level of intensity. Terry Lloyd will serve as the league commissioner and Matt
Chamois will be the Referee in Chief. The balance of the governing body is
comprised of representatives of the 4 teams.
One significant rule change will be the use of only the defensive door for
line changes. Fighting will not be tolerated as well as any conduct on or off the
floor detrimental to the league. Cost to play is $175 that includes sweater. We will
only be using OLA certified officials and statistics will be kept and emailed on a
weekly basis. The league is only open to the first 64 players including goaltenders.
Games will be 3-20 minute periods of running time with one time out per game.

Arrive early for your first game and bring a birth certificate or drivers
license to sign you registration form for insurance purposes. If under the Age of
Majority, you must bring a parent or legal guardian.
