A GUIDE TO USING MYNETBALL (CLUBS) GETTING STARTED A member from each club should have received a Login ID and Password in an email. Go to the following address to log in to the system - http://admin-netball.resultsvault.com/ Your web browser should look like this: Mode Dropdown Selector Mode Specific Menu REGISTERING PLAYERS Menu Mode Competition Participation Menu Heading Players Menu Item Registration Manager Registering Multiple Players (ie. Pre-season Registration) Senior and Junior registrations will need to be completed separately due to the last step where you select the membership type to register players under. We register players under the Country – Senior & Country – Junior memberships. Leave the person filters as is and click ‘search’. All players registered to your club will appear. Select players to register or tick select all. Under ‘Actions’ select register and click ‘perform action’ Select the membership type to register them under. Note: You may receive an error notice when registering players under the MyNetball system for the first time. This is because each player may require their ‘Emergency Contact’ details updated. This information can be added by clicking on ‘edit’. If players have changed their address etc., this can also be changed by clicking on ‘edit’. In this screen you are able to change a player’s name which is handy if they have been married during the off season. You may notice on your player listing that there are players that have never played for your club. Could you please make note of these so we can inform NetballSA of this. Some players may not have transferred successfully from the NMAS system. Registering Individual Players Add the person’s name to the search filters to narrow the search Select the player to register by ticking the box. Under ‘Actions’ select register and click ‘perform action’ Select the membership type to register them under. Registering Players Using Offline Spread Sheet Please contact Kelsey if you wish to do this. It requires a different set of instructions. ADDING NEW PLAYERS Refer to TRANSFER AND CLEARANCES if you know that a player has been registered in the NMAS system to a club in our association or another association. If you have searched the system and cannot find this player, you will need to add them. This will apply to new 13 and under players moving out of Minis. Menu Mode Competition Participation Menu Heading Players Menu Item Add New Player Attempt to search for the player. If you the person record you wish to create was not found in the search, click create a new record. Complete the details required with * identifying mandatory fields and click ‘add’. Select the Player tab and ‘Registration’ Choose the registration type and click ‘Add registration’. TRANSFER AND CLEARANCES Transfers – registering a player as a secondary registration i.e playing under 2 associations – does not need authoristation Clearances – transferring from one association to another OR transferring from one club to another – needs authorisation Registering a player under a secondary association Menu Mode Menu Heading Competition Participation Players Menu Item Add New Player Add New Player and search for their name. Tick “Show extra filtering” to give you more options. Select the name and under the Transfer column click ‘Add to x-association/club name-x’ Select the transfer options and roles Click ‘Transfer’ For data proctection the Transfer Organistation cannot edit the person’s details until after 5 days. If the FROM organisation wants to deny the transfer they must submit a support ticket within 5 days. Moving a player from one association to another/one club to another Menu Mode Menu Heading Competition Participation Players Menu Item Add New Player Search for players name Select the name and under the Clearance column select ‘Apply for Clearance’ On the next screen, add the clearance reason and role you would like to assign to them and click ‘Submit’. Clearance requests must be approved before a player details are moved to a new association or club Granting/Denying Clearances Menu Mode Competition Participation Menu Heading Players Menu Item Permits and Clearances – Clearance and Permits List Locate the ‘Clearances requested by other organisations’ section Ensure the correct season is selected Locate the player in the table Click ‘Detail’ and select the response Fill in the ‘From club comment’ and click ‘Submit’ REGISTERED PLAYERS REPORT Menu Mode Menu Heading Menu Item Competition Participation Players Registration Manager In Registration Type select “Junior” or “Senior” Registration Mode select “Show All” to display everyone Click ‘Search’ Once the list has come up at the bottom select ‘Download data’. This will export the data to an excel file which you can further filter and sort. ALLOCATING PLAYERS TO A TEAM Menu Mode Competition Participation Menu Heading Teams Menu Item Team/Squad Set-Up (Season) Click ‘Edit’ under squad on the grade you wish to add a team to. Allocate players to the team. Ensure you save the team. Repeat this process for each grade.
