Theme: Definition of the agreements and commitments reached during the group sessions with
participation from the delegates of the government and civil society. The rapporteurs will present
their commitments and future actions’ outline. Presentations will be organized by sub-regions.
Representatives from the international organization and non governmental activities will comment
and respond to the country/regional proposals and how they could facilitate the process. Conclusions
from the Symposium. Future actions supported by the project. Evaluation

The objective is to reach the policy design arena. However, taking into account the different development
levels of the various services offered for children between 0 to 3 years old, you will set your expectations
considering the Millennium Goals and the Education for All national plans. Countries will have this topic menu
as reference: integral quality services for children between 0 to 3 years old, including those in rural, indigenous
and border areas; actions in the education, health and welfare sectors; agreements between government and
private companies to promote the creation of services; strategies that will enable funding programs; programs to
promote integral attention and intersectorial services; actions that will link social policy against poverty with
programs focused on mothers, family and children between 0 to 3 years old; strengthen competence quality in
professional development programs and continuous capacity building; review or elaborate curriculum and
relevant pedagogic material; dissemination programs and campaigns; development of supervision, follow-up
and evaluation processes; responses to transition needs; participation in exchange networks; etc.
