Notice of Request for Sealed Bid Proposals
Sealed bid proposals will be received by Forest Park Forever, Inc., David Lenczycki, P.E. Project Engineer,
located at 5595 Grand Drive in Forest Park, St. Louis, MO 63112 until May 16, 2014, at 4 PM for the
Asphalt Trail Renovation Project in Forest Park located within the City of St. Louis, MO as described in
Request for Proposals (RFP), Information of Bidders, Schematic Plans and Specifications including other
related bid requirements. Bidding documents are available by “pdf” format at no cost at
www.forestparkforever.org/bids or made available for paper copies at Forest Park Forever during office
hours.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2000.00).
A Performance Bond and Material Labor payment bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. The
Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the State of Missouri, Division of Labor, shall apply to this
project. This project is partially funded by the US Department of Transportation and administered
through a grant provided by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), Recreational Trails
Program (RTP), which requires each contractor to comply with all the Federal State rules and regulations
to participate in this program.
