Starting the Game
1. 6 players: 1 center, 2 wings/forwards,2 defense and 1 goalie
A. Center: player who is allowed to move anywhere, works to
score
B. Wings or Forwards (right and left): players who cannot go past
the centerline into the defensive area, responsible for working
with the center on offensive play
C. Defenders: players who cannot go past the centerline into
the offensive area, responsible for keeping the puck out of
the defensive half of the floor
D. Goalie: player allowed to stop the puck with hands, feet, or
stick, attempts to block all shots on the goal,

Game Penalties
1. Sticks must be kept at waist level or lower during the entire
game. Any infractions will result in a high sticking penalty
and the player will sit out of the game for 2 minutes
2. Interfering with the goalie is not allowed. You are not
allowed to make a play on the puck once the goalie is in
possession. A 2 minute penalty will be given for an
interference penalty
3. Checking (or intentionally being physical) is not allowed in
the game of hockey. A roughing penalty will be called and
the player will have to sit out of the game for at least 2
minutes depending on the severity of the penalty.

4. A penalty shot will be awarded for any major violation
(tripping, unsportsmanlike conduct, inappropriate
language or behavior)
5. Any MINOR infraction results in a 2 minute penalty, OUR
class receives 1 minutes
