Center: player who is allowed to move anywhere, works to score B. Wings or Forwards (right and left): players who cannot go past the centerline into the defensive area, responsible for working with the center on offensive play C. Defenders: players who cannot go past the centerline into the offensive area, responsible for keeping the puck out of the defensive half of the floor D. Any infractions will result in a high sticking penalty and the player will sit out of the game for 2 minutes 2. Interfering with the goalie is not allowed. You are not allowed to make a play on the puck once the goalie is in possession. A 2 minute penalty will be given for an interference penalty 3. Checking (or intentionally being physical) is not allowed in the game of hockey. A roughing penalty will be called and the player will have to sit out of the game for at least 2 minutes depending on the severity of the penalty. (Referees decision) 4. A penalty shot will be awarded for any major violation (tripping, unsportsmanlike conduct, inappropriate language or behavior) 5.
