Level 9 Finals: Use the highest total score in the final pass to break the tie. If still tied:
Take the two highest Judges’ Execution scores in the final pass to break the tie.
If still tied, then duplicate awards will be given for the tie.
Level 10 Finals: Use the highest total score in the second pass to break the tie. If still
tied:

Example of distribution of awards if ties cannot be broken.
o Two competitors are tied for 2nd place.
o Award the 1st place medal to gymnast with the highest score.
o The 2nd place medals are then presented to the gymnasts with the tied score.
o There is NO 3rd place medal
o The 4th place award is then presented to the next gymnast, and so on.
Warm-Up
19.1
Levels 1 - 7: All competitors will be allowed warm-up passes during the flight warm-up prior to
competition. A touch is considered one pass. The run may not contain skills.

Levels 1-7: One run and two touches
Levels 8 - 10: Prelims and Finals
19.2.1 Option 1: A one (1) hour general warm up on the same day of the competition will be
provided every 4 - 5 flights. Additional warm-up as listed.
-Two (2) pass warm-up on the competition apparatus. This is two touch
ONLY and no warm-up run.
19.2.2 Option 2: If a general training is provided at any time prior to the competition,
warm up will be:
-Three (3) pass warm-up on the competition apparatus. This is three touch
ONLY and no warm-up run.
19.2.3 Option 3: If a general training and/or warm up is NOT provided the warm up will be:
-Four (4) pass warm-up on the competition apparatus. This is four touch
ONLY and no warm-up run.
No general warm-up period is required; However, if times allows one may be provided.
In the event a competitor abuses the warm up rules, the Chair of the Judge’s Panel may instruct each
Execution Judge to deduct 0.1 pt from their subsequent mark.
Warm-up on the competition hall equipment may be eliminated if equivalent equipment is provided in
an adjacent hall.
The competition dress code must be following during all training and warm up times.
