Project Overview
Following the submission of the Business Case for the Review and Development of the TLI
Transport and Logistics Training Package, the Australian Industry and Skills Committee
(AISC) has commissioned the following project.
The TLI Transport and Logistics Industry Reference Committee (IRC) will have oversight of
this project which will be facilitated by Australian Industry Standards in consultation with
industry stakeholders. The project will focus on reviewing the TLI21716 Certificate II in
Road Transport Yard Operations (Freight Handler) qualification. There are opportunities to
broaden the qualification to a wider range of aligned entry occupations. This will require
the development of new units of competency, along with importation of units from other
Training Packages.
Consultation Forum
We will be holding two consultation sessions for this project in June 2017. This is your
opportunity to provide input into the TLI Transport & Logistics Training Package.
