On November 4th, 2014, the voters of California passed Prop 47,
a law that reduces some felonies to misdemeanors.
Do you have any of the following felonies on your record?
• Forgery of $950 or less
• Simple Drug Possession
• Petty Theft of $950 or less
• Writing a Bad Check of $950 or less
• Receiving Stolen Property $950 or less
• Shoplifting $950 or less
***WHAT TO BRING FOR ASSISTANCE***
1. Bring valid government issued ID and rap sheet (criminal record), if available
2. ***Cost ($10 - 50), may qualify for Department of Justice fee waiver, assistance provided
RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING LEGAL SERVICES:
1. If prepared, with your rap sheet and eligible for Prop 47, assistance will be provided to
file your petition
2. If you do not have your rap sheet, you can begin the process to request it,
live scan (fingerprints)
3. If not eligible for Prop 47, receive free legal consultation about criminal record change
