Match Result and Report Forms
It is the responsibility of BOTH teams to communicate the result on the day of
the fixture by SMS text to the Results Secretary.
Report forms MUST be received by the Results Secretary within 3 days of the
fixture being played either in a paper format or by e.mail.

Postponements
1. Contact the League Secretary by letter or e.mail with the reasons for the
postponement.(All decisions relating to non fulfilment of the H.J.F.L. matches will
be dealt with by the appropriate committee.)
2. Contact opponents.
3. Contact Referee’s Secretary if applicable.
Fixture Arrangements
All fixtures will be compiled at the H.F.A. Headquarters and will be emailed out to
Club Secretaries on a monthly basis, they will also be uploaded onto the HFA
web site in a PDF document at the bottom of the page.
This document will be the only one to be used.
We would like to give warm welcome to all new teams joining our league this
season and trust that they will all enjoy their time with us.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we are signed up
the Respect programme and therefore expect everyone to observe the
requirements of the Codes of Conduct which can be found in the HJFL
handbook.
To all new team managers/coaches we would ask you to familiarise yourself with
the rules and regulations of the HJFL so that you do not fall foul of them and
incur penalties/fines. Whilst we are happy to take your money we would prefer
NOT TO!!
So if you follow the rules show respect to one another and allow the young
players to enjoy their football a great season will be had by one and all.

Team managers, both old and new, please note the following:
1. If you have a query initially refer to your Club Secretary, if
they are not able to solve the problem they will contact the
respective League Officials.
2. To AVOID fines please will BOTH teams text the result via
SMS on the day of the match. Will all TEAMS ensure they
either send a paper copy or e-mail the match report sheet
within 3 days of the match being played. Take care to fully
complete the match report sheet (that includes naming
and marking the referee).
3. We will attempt to provide referee’s for the following
League fixtures U12’s, U13’s, U14’ U15’s and U17’s and
ALL CUP FIXTURES. If we are unable to do so the
referee’s secretary will speak to the home team manager
48 hours before the match is played.
4. If you have a problem or change in circumstances
BEFORE the match is played, including player
registrations queries, please ONLY relay these to our
Secretary Diane Phillips.
5. All communication AFTER the game has been played
must ONLY be sent to results Secretary.

SMS RESULTS
“How the SMS Results system Works
For each team, two mobile numbers can be registered. Initially the number of the Club
Secretary has been set, but if you want the Team Manager (or someone else) adding
just let us know the names and mobile numbers of the two people you want to register.
During each game, the FA system will send an SMS Text Message to each
registered mobile number, reminding you to send in the result of the game.
After the game, BOTH home and away clubs should report the score by
replying to their message using the word RESULT (followed by a space) and
giving the score for the game, home team first, away team second, and
separated by a hyphen.
For example:- You will receive a text
FULL-TIME @TheFA CHE1 v MNU1 K.O. SUN 21 SEP 2008 14:00.
Submit your result after the match as: RESULT H-A CHE1
For example to report a 2-1 win to the home side (Chelsea 1sts!) you
would simply reply:
RESULT 2-1
The system will even allow you to report postponements (RESULT P-P) and
abandonments (RESULT A-A), though remember you'll also need to report
these to the league in the usual way.
Results should be sent by 6pm (10pm for midweek games).
Hints and Tips
If you are having problems with sending in results, please bear in mind the following:• Your message must start with RESULT – otherwise the message won’t reach FullTime.
• If you're registered to submit SMS results with more than one team, include the team
code (Full-Time tells you if any code is required).
• Make sure you give the correct team code (if one is required) after the scores.
• Make sure you give the home score first, away score second.
• Tell us if you change your mobile number!
• Tell us if a fixture is incorrect on Full-Time before the game is played.
If you want to check the score has been logged, simply check the internet or the mobile
internet.
Scores register within minutes.
It is essential you get the format right - the system is automated, so it's a computer
taking the text and registering it. If you get it wrong, it won't understand it, but so long
as it's right, it'll work perfectly.
