2017 FIA WORLD TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP
ENTRY REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AND INFORMATION
Dear Competitors,
We are pleased to inform you that:
1. The Sporting Regulations of the 2017 FIA World Touring Car Championship will be available from
Wednesday, 21 December 2016 on the website www.fia.com or via the following link:
http://www.fia.com/regulations/regulation/fia-world-touring-car-championship-121
The regulations applicable to the WTCC 2 category are in the process of being drafted. They will appear in the
version published on the FIA website in January 2017.
2. Calendar: please find attached the calendar approved by the WMSC of 30 November 2016.
3. The online entry form (http://entryforms.fia.com/web/registrationwtcc.nsf) will be available from
Monday, 9 January 2017. You may apply to enter after reading the conditions for entry described in Article 36
of the applicable sporting regulations.
a) WTCC “Season” competitors’ entries:
o Closing date:
o Entry fee:
24 February 2017, midnight.
39,000 euros per car per season.
b) WTCC “Race-by-race” competitors’ entries:
o Closing date:
o Entry fee:
14 days prior to the Event.
5,500 euros per car per event.
c) “Manufacturer” entries:
o Closing date:
o Entry fee:
24 February 2017, midnight.
315,000 euros per manufacturer per season.
Attachments which must IMPERATIVELY accompany the entry application:
a color copy of the competitor’s (and/or manufacturer’s) licence issued by your ASN
a color copy of the driver’s licence
a copy of the 1st page of the FIA Homologation Form of the car (on which the homologation number
appears)
for competitors registered under Articles 10 c) only: a certificate from the ASN concerned, proving that
the car is in conformity with the national technical regulations and a copy of the first page of the
homologation form of the car issued by the ASN (on which the homologation number appears)
a copy of the bank transfer corresponding to the total amount of the entry fee required
NOTE
We would like to draw your attention to entering the correct billing address at the time of entry form
inscription. This billing address will be used throughout the whole season for creating any invoices for the
payments related to your entry. Please note that the fine payments will be invoiced to the same billing address.
We would like to kindly ask you to inform the FIA administration of any changes related to your season
inscription (driver change, withdrawal, etc.) of your entrant, 48 hours before the beginning of every
competition in question. Any changes after this deadline will be reported to the Panel of Stewards for it to take
into consideration.
