OBJECTIVES / COACHING POINTS
Four red players attempt to keep possession
of the ball from 1 blue defender in-side the
small yellow area. At all times the 4 red
players should be looking for the opportunity
to pass the ball to the red player outside the
large yellow area. I f the blue player win s the
ball inside the small area he should pass to a
team mate in the large area. The blue team
then try to keep possession of the ball from
the 5 red defenders
Divide the group into 2 equal teams and have
1 team in-side the area and 1 team spread
around the edge of the area. Players inside
should move into one of the boxes and check
out before receiving a pass from an outside
player. They pass the ball back and continue.
Progression: On receiving the ball the player
dribbles away and passes to another player
on the outside before moving on to the next
box. Rotate teams from outside to inside.

 Allow the players on each team to
decide amongst themselves which
formation they will play (e.g 2-2-1
etc)

ball the players can move between
the 3 zones
