THREE FIRMS have expressed interest in the second auction of the 153.1-megawatt

PSALM said the prospective bidders attended the pre-bid conference
conducted yesterday at PSALM’s office in Makati City. It added that the firms also
completed preliminary requirements to participate in the auction, particularly
submission of letters of interest by Sept. 4, payment of a P120,000 non-refundable
participation fee and execution of confidentiality agreement by Sept. 6.

The second auction has been scheduled on Oct. 15.
