The undersigned will hold the City of Varnell, its officials, agents and employees exempt and
harmless from any injury to persons or property arising from the use of the Varnell Fields as
described in this application. The undersigned will further indemnify and hold the City of Varnell, its
officials, agents, and employees harmless for any and all loss, expense, damage, reasonable
attorney’s fees, claims and demands arising out of the undersigned’s use of the premises as stated
in this application.
The undersigned further acknowledges a receipt of the Varnell Field Rental Information Sheets and
agrees to adhere to all regulations and conditions contained therein and be personally responsible
for any damage or destruction of the Varnell and premises during the period of use by the
undersigned and the organization which undersigned represents.

Non Varnell Recreation Teams $20 Per hour ($35 for two hours)
**One Batting Cage is included with field rental****

payments. Deposits are refunded to the name and address on the original check unless prior
arrangements are made to send the refund to a different name and address.

Varnell Field rental reservations are made through City Hall at 706-694-8800.
City Recreation teams will have first access to the fields
Anyone using cages for profit must pay the city a $5.00 fee for all individuals trained on city property.
The Varnell Field may be used on a Reservation Basis ONLY, subject to the fees, rules, and
requirements of the City’s Application and Rental Information. Any individual or group wishing to use the
field facilities must complete and submit an application, which is available at Varnell City Hall during
normal business hours. Individuals must be 21 years of age to reserve fields.
Adequate adult supervision must be present at all times.
All activities conducted must be in compliance with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations of the
Federal Government, the State of Georgia, and the City of Varnell.
The right to use the Varnell fields can be revoked at any time due to misconduct, falsification of
information on application, misuse of property or failure to comply with all federal, state, or city laws
ordinances, rules or regulations by any individual, group, and organization. The City of Varnell also
reserves the right to prohibit any use of the Varnell fields, which is contrary to public safety and welfare. A
City representative will have the right to enter the field during any event.
Due to the event scheduling, the Field should be unoccupied by the end of the rental time.

o Pyrotechnics and/or fireworks of any kind are not allowed
BEVERAGES IS ALLOWED ON CITY PROPERTY.
o NO SMOKING OR ALCOHOLIC
