field during games unless given special permission by the head coach of their
current team, or the director or coordinator of Muscle Baseball.

3) Sign our release form to release your son from the current team.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds upon quitting or being released from the team
and in order for your child to be released from the current USSSA roster you must
be paid up to the current date. If you are not paid up to the current date, you must
pay all fees owed, including late fees, in order to be released.
VI. Codes of Conduct
"A coach or parent's unkind words or actions on the playing field may not make
the headlines of the local newspaper or that evening's TV newscast, but that
does not mean the damage to the youngster is any less severe."
Adults, parents and coaches, will be required to sign the Fit-N-Wise Muscle
Sports Code of Conduct that applies to them.
A. Player's Code of Conduct
I will exert and practice good sportsmanship at all times, win or lose.
I will not throw any equipment in anger or for any other reason.
I will respect my coach and all of his decisions whether or not I agree with them.
I will treat coaches, fellow players, fans, umpires and anyone else in attendance at

I will never argue or talk back to an umpire and will let my coach handle any protest
or appeal at the appropriate time.
B. Parents Code of Conduct
I will inform the coach of any physical injury or ailment that may affect the safety of
my child or others.
I will be knowledgeable about the rules and policies of Muscle Sports, Muscle
Baseball and Wise Health Systems.
I will encourage my child to have good sportsmanship by remaining positive and
showing respect and courtesy to adults, to the umpires, opposing fans, players and
coaches at every game and practice.
I will not engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct with opposing fans, coaches,
players, or umpires.
I will not conduct or encourage behavior that would endanger the health or safety of
the athletes or other fans.
I will teach my child to play with good sportsmanship and by the rules of the game.
I will teach my child to treat other players, coaches, and officials with the utmost
respect regardless the situation.
I will not yell at or ridicule my child, other players, or coaches during games or
practices.
I will respect the officials during games and will not question, confront, or question
a coach at the game field or practice, and will take the time to set up an agreed upon
time and place to meet to discuss any concerns.
I will abide by the rules and regulations of each park or facility where my child plays
or practices.
I will refrain from coaching or instructing my child or any other player during the
games and practices, unless I am one of the certified official coaches of the
organization.
I understand that my child is not guaranteed a certain amount of playing time and
will refrain from consulting the coach about playing time for my child unless I am
asking about what my child needs to improve upon.
C. Coaches Code of Conduct
Our coaching staff will be aware that they have tremendous influence in the lives of
each and every player and will conduct themselves in a manner that encourages
good sportsmanship and respect for the other team, other coaches, umpires, fans,
and players.
Our coaches will understand the importance of positive coaching methods and how
to build a player's confidence and motivation with both praise for a positive action,
and positive constructive criticism
Our coaches will always place the emotional and physical well being of the players
ahead of any personal desire to win.
Our coaches will be well versed in the USSSA Baseball Rules and Regulations, the
Muscle baseball policies and procedures, and the guidelines of Wise Health Services,
and will abide by and enforce these in a positive and constructive manner.
Our coaches will manage and coach their teams in harmony with all philosophies
and guidelines of Muscle Baseball.
Our coaches shall exert his or her influence to enhance sportsmanship by spectators.
Our coaches will refrain from using offensive or obscene gestures or language at any
point in a Muscle Baseball game, practice or activity.
VII. Practice Guidelines/Dress Code:
Most practices will be held at the Fit-N-Wise Practice Field or at Velocity Sports
Center. It will be the responsibility of the head coach to keep his team updated on all
practice cancellations and rescheduling. An up to date practice schedule will be
posted on the website at all times so first look there before contacting a coach. For
the sake of improving both your child and the team as a whole, it is important to
make each practice. We do understand that there are certain circumstances that will
require your child to miss practice, however, it is the parents responsibility to
inform the coach beforehand. Much of the planning of practices involves knowing
how many players will be present.
Each player will receive two practice shirts for the spring season. Players are
required to wear one of the two to each practice. Pants will be required for all field
practices, unless otherwise stated by the head coach. For indoor practices, each
player is required to wear athletic shorts, preferably the ones assigned. Players do
not need to wear pants to indoor practices unless otherwise stated by the head
coach. Shirts need to be tucked in during all practices and a cap is required. We
believe that, even at a young age, responsibility is a huge key to success. With this
being said, wearing the proper attire is the responsibility of the player.
All practices will be conducted in an orderly and productive fashion by the coaches
of each team. These practices will consist of different drills, live situations, inner
squads and many other learning tools that will improve not only your child's
physical baseball skills, but also their knowledge of the game. We understand that
an effective practice is one where everyone is constantly moving and involved.
Because of this, our coaches are coached to keep each player involved and moving
throughout the entire practice time.
VIII. Tournament Guidelines/Dress Code:
The pre-game warm-up is one of the most important parts of a team's game
performance. Many times how a team will play is determined by how well they
warm-up prior to the game. All players are required to get to each game an hour
before game-time so that the entire team has a proper warm-up. We do understand
that certain situations can affect being on time, and if you are running late to a game,
we ask that you let the head coach know prior to the start of warm-up.
Players will receive two game jerseys, a warm-up shirt, and two pairs of game pants
for the season. All teams will wear their dark gray jersey with white pants for
Saturday games, and their light gray jersey will gray pants for Sunday games. It is
our belief that if you look like a team, you will play like a team. With this in mind, we
require all players to wear their pants down on Saturdays and up on Sundays. The
warm-up shirt given to each player will also act as an undershirt for games. Each
player is required to wear their warm-up shirt to and from games. Game jerseys will
only be worn during games.
IX. Reporting a Problem or Concern:
If you have a problem or concern with the coaches, facilities or anything else you
feel needs to be addressed we ask that you follow the "Organizational Structure" in
reporting problems or concerns. Obviously there may be concerns that require
speaking directly with those in charge of Muscle Sports. Please go about the process
in one of the following ways.
1. If the problem is concerning a coach or faculty member that has violated the
Muscle Baseball Code of Conduct or a policy of Wise Health Systems we ask that you
contact the Director of Muscle Sports to discuss the situation.
2. If the problem is concerning players on your child's team that you feel may be
acting in an inappropriate way or may be creating problems within the team, please
contact your head coach to discuss the situation.
3. If the problem regards the facilities or any other aspect of Fit N Wise, please
contact the Director and explain the situation.
In any of these cases we ask that you follow the "Organizational Structure" or what
