Graphics Technical Committee (IEEE VGTC).
EuroVis 2017, the 19th Annual Conference of the Eurographics Working Group on Data Visualization and
supported by the IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee (IEEE VGTC) will take place in
Barcelona from the 12th till the 16th of June. EuroVis has been a Eurographics and IEEE co-supported
international visualization symposium held in Europe annually since 1999. For several years, EuroVis has
been accompanied by co-located events.
Currently, the confirmed co-located events are: EuroGraphics Symposium on Parallel Graphics and
Visualization (EGPGV), EuroGraphics Workshop on Visual Analytics (EuroVA), EuroGraphics Workshop on
Reproducibility, Verification, and Validation in Visualization (EuroRV3), and EuroGraphics Workshop on
Visualization in Environmental Sciences (EnvVirVis).
The objective of EuroVis is to foster greater exchange between visualization researchers and practitioners,
and draw more researchers and industry partners in Europe to enter this rapidly growing area of research.
EuroVis has an expanded scope that includes all areas of visualization, and a steadily growing visibility that
achieves a more widespread impact.
The Full Week event, attracts participants from around the world, world-leading academics as well as
representatives of major commercial research divisions. In total we expect between 260 and 320
participants.
