PG9: Here you will use the
stopwatch to track the speed of
the objects in the stream.
Hit the START button as an object
in the stream passes the first bar,
and then STOP as it passes the
second bar at the particular
depth.
To avge, add both times together
and divide by two. Use Calc if
needed.
PG11: Now that you have done
the calculations, plot the red
points into the graph. They will
almost snap into place when you
are close to the spot.
PG13: Move the crosshairs on the
graph to figure out the
meters/sec on the graph.
Add all the numbers together and
divide by the amount of data
points to get an average.
PG16: Click and drag the bobber
to the depth listed in the
question.

Put the bobber in the middle of a
stripe at .6 depth and click
measure. Click Record until told
they’ll fill the rest for you. Click
Done Measuring.
PG22: Do the calculations as
instructed on screen for the first
four rows. Click Verify
Calculations-redo any errors.
Click Add Remaining Data
Click Sum Up Discharge
Click Go to Next Page
Answer the final questions using
the hints provided.
