Membership Categories explained
The following outlines general playing restrictions applicable to certain membership categories. With
regards to Membership categories affected by age eligibility, members age for the season determined
by their respective age on January 1st of each year.
Adult Shareholder – Adults aged forty (40) and over, unrestricted golf, 7-days a week, with a share in
their name, or spouse’s name.
Adult Non-Shareholder – Adults aged forty (40) and over, unrestricted golf, 7-days a week, without a
share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Monday to Friday Shareholder – Adults aged forty (40) and over, Monday to Friday including holidays,
with a share in their name, or spouse’s name. Green fees apply to any weekend play, except the Club
Championship.
Monday to Friday Non-Shareholder – Adults aged forty (40) and over, Monday to Friday including
holidays, without a share in their name, or spouse’s name. Green fees apply to any weekend play,
except the Club Championship.
Intermediate Shareholder – Must have attained the age of thirty one (31) years but not yet forty (40).
Unrestricted golf, with a share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Intermediate Non-Shareholder – Must have attained the age of thirty one (31) years but not yet forty
(40). Unrestricted golf, without a share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Young Adult 2 Shareholder – Must have attained the age of twenty five (25) years but not yet thirty one
(31). Unrestricted golf, with a share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Young Adult 2 Non-Shareholder – Must have attained the age of twenty five (25) years but not yet
thirty one (31). Unrestricted golf, without a share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Young Adult 1 Shareholder – Must have attained the age of nineteen (19) years but not yet twenty five
(25). Unrestricted golf, with a share in their name, or spouse’s name. Also, any person in full time
further education.
Young Adult 1 Non-Shareholder - Must have attained the age of nineteen (19) years but not yet twenty
five (25). Unrestricted golf, without a share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Junior 2 - Must have attained the age of fourteen (14) years but not yet nineteen (19). Unrestricted golf,
outside of the leagues, and after 12pm at weekends.
Junior 1 - Must have attained the age of eight (8) years but not yet fourteen (14). Unrestricted golf,
outside of the leagues, and after 12pm at weekends.
Family Shareholder – An adult member, their spouse and dependent children who meet the
qualifications for a junior membership, or are attending a secondary education facility full time (up to
twenty three (23) years of age), unrestricted golf, with a share in their name, or their spouse’s name.
Family Non-Shareholder – An adult member, their spouse and dependent children who meet the
qualifications for a junior membership, or are attending a secondary education facility full time (up to
twenty three (23) years of age), unrestricted golf, without a share.
Restricted Shareholder – Adults, with a share in their name, or spouse’s name. Unrestricted golf after
2pm, 7-days a week. Green fees apply to any play before 2pm, except the Club Championship.
Restricted Non-Shareholder – Adults, with a without a share in their name, or spouse’s name.
Unrestricted golf after 2pm, 7-days a week. Green fees apply to any play before 2pm, except the Club
Championship.
Out of town – Unrestricted golf for anyone who resides more than 75km from Hampton, N.B.
Tuesday back-niners – Restricted to Tuesday’s and only the back-nine (holes #10 thro #18).
Other information






Cart Trail Fee – Fee for using own personal cart on the premises of Hampton GC.
Couples – Legally married or considered to be a couple under the rules established by the Board
of Directors.
Juniors (Novice, Bantam & Juvenile) – Can play anytime outside of league play and on
weekends & holidays play is permitted after 12pm.
All membership categories have the ability to purchase additional Club Services.
Membership Installments must include post-dated cheques upon application, dated on the 1st of
every month.
Children under the age of eight (8), being children or grandchildren of members may play after
5:00pm accompanied by an adult at no charge. Access to practice facility on off peak times
accompanied by an adult at no charge.
