Parade- we are marching in the Stow city’s 4th of July parade. The girls
need to be in the Macys parking lot on 59 at 8:30 am in black shorts and a
tank. They will get a tshirt upon arrival. Pickup at Holy Family Church after.
Camp- Our season is kicking off with summer camp! Wednesday the 26
through Friday the 28 from 8-12 at the high school in the lower gym.
Please bring plenty of water and a light snack if you wish. Attire for camp
is: Wednesday- grey tshirt with black or maroon shorts, Thursday- maroon
megaphone shirt with black or grey shorts, Friday- spirit day (any stow
spirit is welcome, feel free to get creative). Please wear any sport shoe to
camp, DO NOT wear your cheer shoes or your new cheer bow. Each
cheerleader must have a final forms account with an active physical to
participate in camp.
Fall sports meeting- Wed the 26th in the Kimpton auditorium at 6pm. This
meeting is where the entire schedule is passed out, information is given
about final forms, and the girls will be sized for their uniforms. Please wear
shorts and a tank so you can try on your uniform in the room.
Chipotle Fundraiser- we will be having a dine to donate at the Stow
Chipotle location between 5 and 9 pm on the 31. All you have to do is eat
at Chipotle and mention Kimpton cheer or show the flier. We get 50% of
each order! Fliers will be passed out during camp for the girls to hand out.

Mandatory practices are Mon and Wed from 530-730 at Kimpton in the
front lawn. Once school begins we will only practice on Mondays inside.
For games, whether they are home or away, the girls need to bring their
cheer bag with all uniform items to school. They will stay after school and
be bused to either the High school, Lakeview, or the opponents school. This
is our first year traveling to away games. Please note on schedule, @ home
means Lakeview or HS and @ followed by a school means that is an away
game. All games start between 4 and 415. For home games the girls are
bused to the game only. Parents pick up. For away games the bus brings
the girls to and from the game and parents pick up at Kimpton. Girls will be
able to call/text an arrival time for you to promptly pick up. Girls are
expected to ride the bus home from the away games. They will sit in the
front of the bus with a coach and the boys are in the back.
Youth night- the girls are cheering at youth night again this year. They will
cheer the entire third quarter. More information to come.
Pay to Participate fees are due before the first game of the season. If this
fee is not paid the girls have to sit until it is paid.

Important Information:
We will continue with Monday practices from 530-730 inside Kimpton.
PICTURE DAY is Tuesday September 5th for both teams. There is no 8th
grade game, which means the 8th graders need to stay after school for
pictures, and get picked up when they are done. They should need picked
up around 3/315. The 7th graders will have pictures taken then get on the
bus to go to the high school for their game. The girls can wear their hair
however they would like for pictures. An order form will be sent home prior
to picture day.
As we get further into the season there is the possibility of practices being
cancelled. We will give you advanced notice of cancellations.

Important Information:
Playoff games are possible in the second week. More information will come
as we get closer to these dates.
The girls will be marching in the high school homecoming parade. More
information will come as we get closer. Last year we met at Riverview
church around 5. The girls will wear either their warmups or uniforms.
Once they march in the parade they are free to go or stay for the game, but
the coaches are only responsible for them during the time of the parade.
Once we know the basketball game schedule we will update the practice
and game calendar.
We are planning a tentative end of the season dinner. Possibly at On Tap in
Stow.
