2014 SUMMER ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (“SET”) CAMP
INFORMATION SHEET
The 2014 Summer Engineering and Technology (“SET”) camp is a joint initiative between
Armstrong Atlantic State’s Engineering Studies Program, the 100 Black Men of Savannah
charity organization and the Georgia Space Grant Consortium. SET was designed to
promote awareness and appreciation for engineering and technology (software) related
careers among local middle and high school students. SET also aims to increase diversity
among the students who successfully pursue engineering and/or technology careers.

Please note that a participation fee for this year’s camp has been assessed at $25.00 per
child. Checks should be made payable to:
Armstrong Engineering Fund 219
We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to go to camp but recognize that some families
might require a little help. Private scholarships [monies provided by donors outside the University] are
available to families meeting certain financial criterion (see “Scholarship Section”, at pg. 4 of the
“Application Form”).
