Purpose of Role (In one or two sentences, why does this role exist?)
Our ambition is to step-change our GTR business in SEA – delivering growth in volume, revenue, and profit and market
share and making GTR the global brand shop window for TWE’s brands via implementation of world class customer
marketing programmes.
Reporting to the GTR Regional Manager – SEA, the Sales Executive assumes commercial responsibility for delivering agreed
targets through the development and execution of customer strategy across the various Travel Retail channels in SEA
including airports, airlines, airlines lounges, cruise ships.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

To input developmentally and execution on the proposed promotional plan as presented by the GTR Marketing
Team.

To ensure world class implementation of all our brand initiatives to ensure we win at point of purchase

To manage daily operations in DFS to meet business goal

To assist in interviewing, recruiting and training promoters.

Train promoters on daily responsibilities, brand promotion and customer service activities

To supervise and guide a team of professionals promoters to maximize revenue

To ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality services

To perform market research to study consumer behaviour, latest trends and competitor activity.

To perform pricing check in domestic retailers/3 airports and update on monthly template from DFS

Ensure timely communications and liaison with logistics team for optimum supply chain effectiveness.

To work collaboratively with domestic TWE colleagues to ensure optimisation of overall TWE business

To ensure financial and demand forecast accuracy within specified lead times

To oragnise training programme for shopfloor staff
What are the key decisions made in this role?

Executing the commercial strategy for GTR in SEA in order to deliver monthly and annual budgets, ensuring the
most appropriate tactics are put in place to realise growth opportunities

Most effective utilisation of TWE cross functional resource (people, technology, tools etc.)

Commercial opportunity options to be considered in order to achieve targets.

Minimum of 2 years commercial experience, preferably in the Travel Retail industry

Degree or diploma in Business, Economics or similar discipline

WSET or similar wine education desired

Computer Literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & email

Numerate with strong financial skills

Strong negotiation skills

Excellent evaluative, analytical and interpretive skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong planning and organisational skills
