Herts Urgent Care (HUC) is seeking high quality, ambitious Advanced Nurse Practitioners to support
the new Integrated Urgent Care Service. This position is based at Bedford Hospital.
The IUC operates across the entire county of Luton & Bedfordshire, bringing together the NHS111 and
OOHs components into a single seamless high quality service.

High rates of pay
 £35.00 to £38.50 per hour depending on time of day and experience.
In this role you will:
 Have a choice of various shift lengths (no minimum number of shifts)
 Simply choose the shifts that suit you best
 Have access to an on-line shift booking is quick and easy
Shift Patterns available at present:
 Thursdays & Fridays, 6.30pm - 10pm
 Saturdays, 9am – 1pm, 6pm – 10pm
 Sundays, 9am - 1pm, 1pm – 6pm, 6pm – 10pm
We are looking for
 Minor Illness and Prescribing qualifications
 Experience of working in urgent care setting
 Patient focussed
 Excellent IT and communication skills
 Knowledge of Adastra or SystmOne
