At Viva Gym we pride ourselves on bringing the most affordable and flexible membership
fees and the best value for money for all our members.
Please note that whatever deal we strike with a corporate, our contract for membership is
always with the individual members that physically visit our gym. For many reasons this
cannot change, so we will always need to collect information, sign forms and enroll
members on an individual basis.
STEP 1:
Is your Company going to be actually paying for your staff’s gym memberships or are you
looking for a volume discount?
If you are going to be paying, we call this a Corporate Payer.
If you are looking for a volume discount, we call this a Corporate Discount.

WHAT YOU GET
Firstly, on behalf of your employees, thank you for your generosity and commitment to their
health and wellbeing.
In recognition of your willingness to commit to this benefit for your staff, Viva Gym is prepared to make
all Corporate Payer members the following offer:
• All members qualify for the Month to Month deal at the prevailing Annual Contract rate. This means
that for 2016, we are willing to allow all Corporate Payers to benefit from the lowest 12-month
membership fee of R239/month whilst also retaining the flexibility of a month-to-month product.
• All members are eligible for 50% off the prevailing JF rate
This ensures that the Corporate Payer is always getting our best rate, whilst also benefitting from the
flexibility of our no contract offering should the employee leave or have this benefit removed.
This amounts to a first year saving of over R500 per employee.

WHAT YOU NEED
To proceed with a Corporate Payer offer, we are going to need the following:
•
Key contact person at your office – no staff members will be added or removed from your offering
without this person’s specific approval in writing over email.
•
Your bank account details from an account you would be willing to have the gym fees run from.

HOW IT WORKS
In order to protect your company from abuse of this system, we will need to have a designated
contact person, with whom we will share an excel spreadsheet detailing all the information we
require from each member - this spreadsheet will show all new joiners, existing members and
leavers in any given period and will be shared with Viva Gym a maximum of once a week.
•
New Joiners who want to benefit from your Corporate paying their fees will have to contact your
HR representative who will add them to the spreadsheet and send it through to
[email protected]. We will load these members onto our system with your bank details
and they will receive a message once loaded to come and enroll at our gym.
•
Their discounted Joining Fee will be paid by the member at enrolment, unless of course you wish
to pay for that as well, in which case we will process this payment by debit order.
•
Any members that the Corporate Payer no longer wishes to pay for will have to be reflected on
the spreadsheet sent through before the 20th of the month (after this date the Corporate Payer will
be liable for the following month). Viva Gym will then remove the Corporate Payer’s banking
details from this member and send them a message to update their banking details or to choose
to cancel their membership.

At Viva Gym we pride ourselves on bringing the most affordable and flexible membership fees
and the best value for money for all our members.
We appreciate that, as a corporate with over 15 employees, we benefit from your ability to reach
out to many of your employees internally.
Our Corporate Discount has two phases:
• Phase 1 – gym introduction: we would like to introduce your employees to our gym. Ideally
this would be done with Viva Gym having a desk/promo kiosk in your reception for a
morning/afternoon. Alternatively we could run a bespoke class for your employees (but the
co-ordination of attendees would have to be managed by you). During this event, your
employees would be able to join Viva Gym for no joining fee.
• Phase 2 – for a period of 2 weeks after this event, we would be willing to offer a R150 discount
to the joining fee for all subsequent employees who choose to join Viva Gym.

HOW IT WORKS
In order to organize the Phase 1 event, we will need limited interaction with a designated contact
person from your office.
Phase 1 – Gym Introduction:
• Viva Gym will just need an agreed date and space to create a stall. This will preferably be at the
entrance/exit to your office in order to maximize visibility and the chance for your employees to
benefit from the no joining fee offer. We will supply all tables, iPads, marketing collateral, leaflets etc.
Phase 2 – Discounted Joining Fee:
•
Viva Gym will share an template letter from your company which new joiners will have to show at
our reception to benefit from the joining fee discount.
•
New Joiners who want to benefit from your Corporate Discount will have to come to the gym with a
letter from your HR department confirming their status as an employee (Viva Gym will provide a
template letter) and they will receive a R150 discount to the joining fee on sign-up.
•
Note that in Q2 2016, this “letter” process will be replaced by a digital corporate discount code
which will be incorporated into the online joining process.
