Chateau d’Ebblinghem
 The chateau is approximately 45 mins west of Boulogne
close to the beautiful town of St. Omer. The centre is
made up of 3 separate accommodation buildings, the main
house and two converted stable blocks.
 We have our own building that incorporates our own
dining room, kitchen, staffroom and ensuite bedrooms.
 Each bedroom sleeps 4 and there is a shower, sink and
toilet in the ensuite bathroom. There is some hanging
space and shelves for clothes in each bedroom.

with a bottle of mineral water.
 Dinner:
3 courses with a choice of main courses and

Passport

valid for travel and handed into the
school office. They will be kept in
the safe at school and then in the
safe at the centre during our stay.
Please ensure that you hand in the
correct passport!
Essential Items
E-HIC card
 The children have to have one of these cards in
order to travel with NST and to have the right
to access medical care in France.
 You can apply online but please do so through
the NHS site as others will charge you up to
£23 and this service is FREE.
 www.ehic.org.uk will take you to the NHS
website and you apply there.
Money
 We suggest 25 – 30 euros pocket money.
 We will look after the children's money and give
it to them when appropriate.
 Please hand in the money to the school office.
It should be in a named envelope NOT a purse or
wallet.
 As with the passports we will keep the money in
the school safe until we travel.
Medication
 Please label all medicines carefully.
 If your child needs to bring any medication
other than calpol and nurofen there is a form
available for you to complete with any
instructions re dosage and times.
 We will provide calpol and nurofen. Please
ensure that you have signed the consent form
that was sent home if you want us to administer
either of these medicines.
Deadlines!
 Friday 19th May 2017
 All outstanding consent forms and passport
numbers must be handed in today.
Tuesday 6th June 2017
 All passports, e-hic cards, calpol/nurofen
consent forms and pocket money MUST be
handed into the school office. This enables us to
label and pack everything securely ready for
travel.
Communication
 We will send an e-mail every evening via Parentmail giving an
update on our activities.
 If you have any questions about the trip whilst we are away
please ask at the school office. They have a copy of our
itinerary. They will contact us if necessary. The internet
connection at the chateau is poor so please do not e-mail us
directly as there could be a delay in us receiving your
message. The school office can, and will, contact us by text
or phone call if needs be.
 If there is an emergency that would require a child having to
come home early you can contact us directly at the centre on
00 33 3 28 44 22 10 This is ONLY for emergencies!

 We will have passports, e-hic cards and some additional items to
hand out to the children on our return.
 We will take the children to 6T’s classroom and we will dismiss the
children into the main playground from there.
 Please do not take your child without speaking to a member of staff
first. If we are delayed for any reason we will inform you with a
revised time of arrival and where you should wait.
 The children will be tired and desperate to see you and we
understand that. We will not keep them longer than necessary but
an orderly end to the trip is essential. We will have been living
together as a group for 5 days and it is appropriate that we all say a
proper farewell and thank you to our fellow travellers. If the end of
the trip is in any way chaotic that will be the final impression of the
week for some and we are chaos free during our time in France!
