will give your team a few laughs as well as some valuable life skills.
Building a team that is highly effective, productive and engaged doesn’t
happen by accident. It takes a plan, excellent implementation and the
right vision. Over the past decade the team at Beyond the Boardroom
have identified that there are 3 key elements to running a successful
team building event.
These 3 key elements are:

Below is a list of activities on offer, including outdoor activities,
food and wine experiences, creative experiences and more.
GET OUTDOORS
Events in the outdoors take your team out of their regular environment.
This puts team members at ease and encourages free conversation,
team bonding and an engaging environment.
Survivor
Join Beyond the Boardroom for an exclusive “Survivor” style activity.
Using a combination of mental and physical ability, ‘tribes’ compete
against each other to complete various challenges. From building
shelters, raft building, to lighting camp fires or orienteering your way to
the tribal council area there can only be one winning tribe... who will
take the glory? Survivor is a half day event designed to build trust,
improve communication, identify leadership, promote collaboration and
more. It is certainly an adventure your group will never forget.

The Amazing Race
The Amazing Race is an excellent way to explore the city. Teams race
around completing a range of food, mental and physical challenges,
passing through a series of checkpoints, whilst utilising multiple modes of
transport. The aim of the race is to be the fastest to the finish line, however
there is a surprise twist along the way. The Amazing Race is a unique
way of discovering hidden local gems in a fun competitive environment.
Mini Olympics
Mini Olympics is a fun team based challenge that is a great conference
break out or for a team building activity near your workplace. The teams
will compete for their country in a series of relays, fast paced challenges
and team sports. Teams will also have to come up with a country cheer
and more. This is a fun outdoor activity that will boost morale and have
your team in laughter! Suitable for most group sizes and can be run in
any open space area.

CREATIVE EXPERIENCES
Minute To Win It
Minute to Win it is a fun activity based on the hit TV show. Join your
team mates and compete in a fast paced series of challenges utilising
household items. Get ready to race against the clock and your fellow
work mates in a Minute to Win It competition. Teams must work together
to solve problems and complete the fun challenges that provide plenty of
laughs. Minute to Win It is a lot of fun, will re-energise your team
and is perfect for a group looking for an all weather activity.
Picasso Challenge
Your group will be greeted by our resident artistic facilitator and learn
some basic art skills. After initial creative exercises, the group is divided
into teams and they must come up with a concept that best represents
the theme of the event or activity. Following this, team members dress in
coveralls and put paint to canvas and the event is finished off with an
exhibition. Picasso Challenge is a lot of fun, promotes creative thinking
and provides some great insights.
Blend Your Own Wine
Are you looking for a fun rewarding day out for your team? Are you
looking for a break during your heavy day of conferencing? Why not take
a wine tour where you can blend your own wine. With expert instruction
and guidance from award winning wine makers your team can blend their
own award winning wine, with the wine maker as the head judge.
Create your own commercial
Create your own commercial is a fun half or full day activity. Teams must
come up with a concept, storyboard their idea and identify who is doing
which role. The theme of the commercial/film is flexible and best when
aligned to each particular business/conference. Editing is generally
completed post event unless part of the Film Fest program. Create your
own commercial is a lot of fun, creative and challenging.
Wine tours and blend your own can include:
• Half or full day with transport as required
• Platters and meals
• Having the winning wine bottled, custom labelled and sent to your office
CHARITABLE EXPERIENCES / EVENTS
Bike Brigade
Bike Brigade is an amazing charitable activity that includes team
challenges and results in bikes being built from flat packs and donated to
a charity. The 2 hour activity starts with a series of problem solving
challenges using bike parts. As the activity progresses, teams gather
more bike items and at the end of the session the teams build the bikes
together. Bike Brigade is not only fun but it also offers a fantastic
opportunity for companies to give back to the community.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands is a unique, philanthropic team building activity for
corporate groups, that not only offers a fun activity, but also donates to a
worthwhile cause. More than just a team building activity, participants
build prosthetic hands that are then donated to amputee landmine victims
throughout the developing world. The activity empowers every participant
in just a few hours to make a real and lasting contribution whilst engaging
in a truly purposeful activity. This is an activity that changes lives.
The Big Picture
The Big Picture is an art based event that helps you to reinforce a
particular message to your team. The group will be divided up into small
teams, and be provided with a theme for their artworks PLUS a strange
shape that they must include on their canvas. The teams then get creative
painting their best representation of the theme in a 1.5 - 2hour time frame.
Once the paintings are all completed, the canvases are put together in a
specific order to reveal a ‘Bigger Picture’ message to the group. This is a
fun creative team building event for medium to large groups and you
have creative artworks to hang in the office as a reminder!
