Q. What do you mean by 122 chances?
A. We’ll have a total of 122 winners during the entire promotion, so you have this much chance to be one
of them! There will be 12 winners per weekly draw (for 10 weeks) and 2 winners during the grand draw.
Q. Who can join the promotion?
A. All RECEIVERS (residing in the Philippines) of remittances coming from abroad, through Western Union
Money Transfer can join and win in this promotion. Domestic and Outbound transactions are not included.
Pls. refer to the T&Cs (section 3) for eligible participants.
Q. Will my senders abroad win anything as well?
A. For this particular promotion, only the receivers or beneficiaries will be get the prize.
Q. How can I join the promotion?
A. No additional step is required to join the promotion (no registration nor submission of form is
required). Just tell your senders abroad to use Western Union when sending money to the Philippines
since all valid, paid out transactions within the promotion period is automatically entered in the electronic
raffle promo as an entry. SO MORE TRANSACTIONS, MORE CHANCES OF WINNING.
Q. What do you consider as a valid transaction?
A. It should be paid out/claimed and not part of the interdiction list.
Q. Is there a minimum transaction amount to join?
A. None, any amount will be entered.
Q. What are the products / transactions included?
A. All types of remittances are included (cash pick up / direct to bank). Vigo transactions are also included.
Q. How will I know if I won?
A. Our third party agency ConceptsInAction Inc. (CIA) will notify you and let you know the verification
process and how to claim the prizes.
Q. Is there a maximum number of transactions per customer?
A. None. However, a person can only win ONCE per weekly draw. A person can win again in the following
weeks as long as the transaction date (when the money is received) is part of the qualified transaction
period for that weekly draw. Non-winning entries of the previous weeks will not be included in the next
weekly draws.
However, all valid transactions (from May 2 to July 10; winning and non-winning entries) will be included
during the grand draw.
Q. I already won in the previous weeks, can I win again?
A. For the weekly draw – Yes, as long as you have a valid transaction for the succeeding weeks. All nonwinning entries during the previous weeks will not be counted in the succeeding weeks
For the grand draw – Yes, all transactions from day 1 until the last day of the promotion will be included.
You may win during the grand draw even though you have already won during the weekly draw(s)
Q. What do I need to bring to claim the prizes?
A.
1. Photocopy of the winning notification letter (registered mail)
2. Original and photocopy of valid (i.e. government issued / employee / school) ID with
picture (back-to-back). For the grand draw and the educational subsidy winner, 2 valid
IDs are required.
3. Photocopy of TIN ID (back-to-back). If winner has no TIN ID, we can also collect a
photocopy of their Bureau of Internal Revenue BIR) form where winner’s TIN no. is
indicated . In the event that the winner has no TIN ID, we can assist them to apply.
Q. Is Western Union bills payment transaction included?
A. No, this is open only to money transfer (remittance) transactions.
Q. I’m a MyWU member, will I get an extra raffle entry?
A. For this particular promotion, members and non-members will get equal chances to join and win. 1
valid transaction = 1 raffle entry.
Q. Is this tax free?
A. Yes, Western Union will shoulder all tax related expenses.
Q. Can I change/choose my prize?
A. No, each week has a designated prize. You may join each week to have the chance to win different
prizes.
Q. Is prize convertible to cash?
A. Non cash prizes is not convertible to cash.
