Creating a test with ExamView Pro to import into CPS Student Responders—
1. Install ExamView software as directed. A shortcut should be placed on the desktop.

Double-click on the icon to start the program.
3. The ExamView startup windows opens. Click “Create a new test”, Click OK.
4. Give the test a title and Click OK. The Select the Question Bank window opens.
5. The default directory opens—c:\examview\banks. Navigate through the folder to
find test bank you want to select questions from. The questions will be listed by
chapters or objectives. Double-Click to open a chapter.
6. Click Select from the Menu Bar, Click While Viewing.
7. Click on the check box at the left of each question to add that question to your test.
Click OK.
8. To add more questions, Click Select from the Menu Bar, Click Question Bank,
Click on the objective or chapter, Click OK.
9. Keep selecting different test banks as desired. When test is complete, Click SAVE
ICON on the toolbar and name the file—be sure to note the location so you can find
the file to import into CPS.
Importing ExamView files into CPS
1. Open the CPS program and make sure your database is open.
2. Right-click on the ExamView directory from the left panel.
3. Click Add File. The Add file window opens.
4. Locate the ExamView test you would like to import. Select the file and click OK.
5. The file should now be located in the ExamView directory in the left panel.
6. Click on the file to view the questions that were imported from your ExamView test.
You are now ready to deliver the lesson a teacher-managed or student- managed
lesson/test or create a fast-grade or challenge activity.
