If you meet all of the requirements below, your application will move onto the essay-judging panel, who
will judge all essays anonymously. The highest scoring male and female essays will win the NWHS
Booster Scholarships.







Be a graduating Senior from Northwest High School, Class of 2016
Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0
Have received a letter of acceptance and plan to attend a two- or four-year college or
university
Complete a minimum of 150 SSL Hours
Participate in extracurricular activities at NWHS (i.e., sports, organizations, clubs)
Submit a 250 - 500 word essay
Submit Application by April 11, 2016

Submission Instructions
Electronic copies or scans of the following documents must be provided for a complete application. Only
complete applications will be considered for the scholarship. The complete application must be submitted
on or before the submission deadline.

2. Transcript (unofficial or official) showing weighted and unweighted GPA and SSL hours
3. Copy of acceptance letter from college or university the student will attend in the fall
4. Scholarship essay
5. Any additional documentation to show eligibility
