WHEN TO PLAY
Question: What are the dates of the MONOPOLY Prize Mania Game at McDonald’s?
Answer: It starts on 28th June 2017 and ends on 15th August 2017 inclusive.
You will be able to buy promotional food items by going to a participating McDonald’s Restaurant and start playing the Collect to
Win and Instant Win games from 10.30am on 28th June 2017.
Question: When do I have to make my prize claim?
Answer: The last date to claim prizes is 12th September 2017. Some discount voucher-prizes may be redeemed a bit later, so
please check the expiry date as specifically stated on these Stickers.
WHO CAN PLAY
Question: Who can play and win prizes in the MONOPOLY Prize Mania Game at McDonald’s?
Answer: We would love to be able to let everyone play but unfortunately, there are restrictions.
 You must be aged 16 or over;
 a resident of the Republic of Ireland;
 must not be directly associated with McDonald’s or the relevant Charity connected with the promotion or indirectly
associated through a company assisting McDonald’s with the Promotion, or indirectly associated through a family or
household member
 for some prizes you need to be aged 18 years or over in order to claim the prize, otherwise your parent / legal guardian
must submit the prize claim on your behalf
Question: I am under 16 – can I still buy food and drink items with a game piece, even though I can’t play?
Answer: Yes, but you can’t sell or give away your game piece and game stickers and, if you try to do so, they will become invalid.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Question: What is a game piece?
Answer: You’ll find a game piece attached to the packaging of any promotional food and drink item. Each game piece comprises
of a number of game stickers, which are the bits you peel off to play!
Question: What’s the difference between a game piece and a game sticker?
Answer: A game piece is what is attached to the promotional packaging you purchase at a participating McDonald’s restaurant.
When you peel open the game piece, you will find the game sticker(s) needed to play inside.
Question: Do I have to make a purchase to get a game piece?
Answer: Yes, game pieces come affixed to our promotional food items, so you’ll need to buy one of those to start playing.
Question: What can I purchase to get a game piece?
Answer: Each of the following food and drink items served in promotional packaging and purchased after 10.30am, qualify for a
game piece:

Question: Where can I buy qualifying food and drink items to get a game piece?
Answer: Subject to availability and while stocks of promotional packaging last, all restaurants stock qualifying items during the
Promotion, For further details, ask in restaurant or see Rules.
Question: How many game stickers do I get on my game piece?
Answer: This depends on the type of qualifying item purchased. For example, regular or medium items or meals, sides and
desserts typically carry a single game piece with 1 game sticker, whilst sandwiches and large items or meals typically carry a
double game pieces with 2 game stickers – please see promotional Rules for further details.
Question: Do I need a Game Board and where can I find one?
Answer: No, you don’t need a game board, but they are helpful for demonstrating what prizes are available to win and how to
win them, as well as keeping your Collect to Win game stickers safe. There are game boards printed on pocket-sized leaflets and
selected trayliners that you can pick up in participating restaurants. Alternatively, you can download and print a game board from
www.mcdonalds.ie/monopoly. They’re all free!
Question: Will the game pieces run out at a McDonald’s restaurant?
Answer: In spite of our best efforts to estimate the required amount of packaging to meet demand, MONOPOLY promotions can
prove more popular than anticipated! This can result in restaurants running out of the packaging carrying game pieces before
the end of the Promotion. It is sometimes possible for packaging to be redistributed so that specific restaurants can be
restocked. So if your local McDonald’s restaurant runs out of packaging before the end of the Promotion, keep an eye out in
case more is delivered.
WAYS TO PLAY
Question: What are the different ways to play the MONOPOLY Prize Mania Game at McDonald’s?
Answer: There are two ways to play. Peeling off the game piece may reveal one of the following types of game stickers:
 Collect to Win game stickers require you to collect Property Sets to win. Claim online by following instructions printed on
the game sticker.
 Instant Win game stickers provide food and drink prizes or a range of other prizes. To claim food and drinks prizes only,
head into a participating McDonald’s restaurant, and for any other prize follow the instructions printed on the game
sticker.
Question: I have a faulty sticker, what do I do?
Answer: We can only help if your game piece is already damaged when you receive it in restaurant. If so, you should
immediately point this out in the restaurant, so your game piece can be replaced with an undamaged one.

Question: What does the “1 in 5 chance to win instantly” claim mean?
Answer: The claim relates to the direct ratio between the number of game pieces with an Instant Win prize message and the
total of game pieces produced for the Promotion.
PRIZE CLAIMS – INSTANT WIN AND COLLECT TO WIN GAMES
Question: How do I redeem a food or drink prize? / I think I have a winning sticker. How do I claim a prize?
Answer:
1. FOOD AND DRINK PRIZES: First you need an Instant Win food or drink prize sticker. Take your sticker(s) to a participating
McDonald’s restaurant no later than 12th September 2017 and hand it to a Crew Member before placing your order. Only food
and drink prizes can be redeemed at McDonald’s.
 You will be required to provide your name and address in order to claim your food or drink prize and your sticker will be
retained
 Your intention to use any food or drink prize game stickers must be disclosed to a crew member and handed over when
requested
 Only ONE food or drink prize may be redeemed per eligible person per transaction and they are not valid in
combination with any other offer or discount
 Food and drink prizes can only be claimed during normal hours of serving the food or drink as referred to on the Sticker
 Food and drink prizes, cannot be swapped for any other menu item or items
2. ALL OTHER PRIZES:
INSTANT WIN: Instructions to claim each Instant Win prize are printed on each sticker. Claim no later than 12th September 2017
(unless otherwise specifically printed on sticker).
COLLECT TO WIN: First you need a completed Property Set of Collect To Win stickers (as indicated on game boards). Claim online
no later than 12th September 2017 by following instructions printed on each winning game sticker.
Question: How soon will I receive my prize?
Answer: This can differ depending on the prize won; check the Rules to find out more. For most prizes other than food and drink
or discount voucher prizes, please allow at least 30 days for us to get your prize to you. If you do not receive your prize within
this time, you can email the MONOPOLY Prize Mania Customer Service Team at [email protected]
Question: Do I still need to keep my game stickers after claiming my prize?
Answer: Yes, you will need them so please make sure you keep your stickers and their codes safe! For some prizes you have to
redeem or send your winning stickers to the Promoter (or prize partner) as part of your prize claim. In fact for every prize the
Promoter reserves the right to ask you to send your winning sticker(s) for verification as a pre-condition to your prize claim being
verified. Verification can take place even after notification that an award is being made. Please take care not to damage stickers
– they will become void for all purposes if you do.
LOTTERY LICENSES AND THE AVAILABILITY CAP
Question: Who is the promotion operated by?
Answer: There are five promotions being operated at the same time by McDonald’s as an agent for five charities, please see

Question: What does ‘until stocks of available prizes last’ / the ‘Availability Cap’ mean?
Answer: As per the Lottery Licenses granted by the District Courts, once prizes to a value of €30,000 per Lottery License, per
Promotion, per week have been won, no further prizes can be won that week. See clause 4.1 of the Rules for full details of the
prizes to be won under each Lottery License.

Answer: Oh no! There could be a number of reasons for this, please try the following:
