U12 Netball Tournament at Cranleigh
The girls braved the cold for an afternoon of Netball at Cranleigh School on Wednesday 25th
January. It was lovely to see significant progression throughout the afternoon, with both
Belmont teams playing their best Netball in the final matches.
The Blue team fought hard and came 3rd in their pool and the Red team came 5th.
Congratulations to all the girls who played.
Blue Team Girl of the Game - Isabel W
Red Team Girl of the Game - Jessica M
U10 Girls’ Hockey
The U10 Girls’ Hockey Team played some fantastic Hockey last week at the St John's Hockey
Festival and the girls were even given the chance to be coached by an ex England player. The
girls found the games challenging, but played fantastically well and fought hard to draw two
matches. Isabel M was awarded Girl of the Game. Congratulations to Isabel and all of the Year 5
girls who played.
U12/13 Hockey v
Ripley Court
The Belmont girls have
trained very hard this
half term and thoroughly
deserved their 7-4 win
against Ripley Court last
week.
Alice C and Jessica M
played exceptionally well
and Alice was awarded
Girl of the Game.
The younger teams played away at Ripley Court on a grass pitch and found this very different to
playing indoors! They fought hard and defensively were strong. For the U8 and U9 girls this was
their very first Hockey match against tough competition and on a very different surface, so well
done!
U8 Red - lost 4-0. Girl of the Game was awarded to Holly T
U8 Blue - lost 5-0. Girl of the Game was awarded Amber W
U9 - lost 6-0. Girl of the Game was awarded to Olivia S
U10A - lost 3-1. Girl of the Game was awarded to Harriet G
U10/11B - lost 4-0. Girl of the Game was awarded to Bobby H
