Community Sponsorship and Auction/Raffle Item Guidelines
July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016
The event must fall within one of the How the Money Helps pillars.
 Education
 Health and Public Welfare
 The Environment
 Economic and Business Development
Events the Lottery will not award a community sponsorship:
 Events where the target audience is under the age of 21
 Events not held in Arizona
 Event proceeds that benefit organizations outside of Arizona
 Events that are held on a High School, Junior High, or Elementary School campus
Types of marketing/branding recognition:
1. Event program: ad space, logo, or name
2. Logo/name in media, on invitation, and/or publicity and marketing materials
3. Speaking opportunity
4. Named scholarship or award
5. Arizona Lottery logo on your website with a link to our website
6. Arizona Lottery mention on Facebook and/or Twitter with a tag to the Arizona Lottery
7. Interactive opportunities (e.g. email blasts, e-newsletters, etc.)
8. Two tickets to event
9. Logo on t-shirts (walks/runs)
10. Complimentary booth space (need electricity and space for pull-up banners)
11. Allowance for the Arizona Lottery ticket trolley to be present at evens (walks, runs, outdoor festivals,
etc.)
12. Other benefits
Auction/Raffle Items Requests:
 Majority of attendees at the event must be over the age of 21
 Event must be held in Arizona
 Event proceeds must benefit organization within Arizona

If the application is not complete, it will not be considered for a sponsorship. Requesting organizations will be notified
of the funding decision within 30 days of submittal. Organizations may only receive funding for one request per fiscal
year (July 1 – June 30).
