Artificial Intelligence


Artificial intelligence is the intelligence
exhibited by computers, machines or
software.

Computer scientists strive to use
artificial intelligence to reflect humanlike behavior and thought processes.

Artificial intelligence is used when
programming device to carry out tasks in
a very human-like way.
Aside from computer science, artificial
intelligence is used in a wide range of other
fields, including:
 Finance
 Hospitals
 Transportation
 Games and Entertainment
Finance:
 Banks use technology with artificial
intelligence to organize operations,
invest in stocks, and manage properties.
Hospitals
 A hospital can use artificial intelligence
systems to organize schedules, provide
medical information and other manage
important tasks.
Transportation
 Artificial intelligence can be used in GPS
systems to better navigate to places.
Games and Entertainment
 Some games and robots are created with
artificial intelligence to respond to its user in
a human-like way.
2009: Google builds a self-driving car. This car
uses artificial intelligence to determine which
roads to drive.

2011: Siri and Google Now are made into
smartphone apps. They use artificial
intelligence to talk and respond to
questions of the user on command.

The coded program determines everything
that the program or device can do. The
computer programmer “creates” the artificial
intelligence
There are of universities that have
computer science and artificial intelligence
courses. Such universities include:
 MIT University
 University of British Columbia
 University of Waterloo


With the constant
advancement in
technology,
artificial
intelligence in
general will be an
ever increasing
industry.
Perhaps in the
future, artificial
intelligence will run
every aspect of
people’s daily lives
