work, and for administrative procedures.
Please be sure not to provide your Individual Number to others irresponsibly.

address through simple registered mail
(handed to you by post office employee, not
put into mailbox)
In Koka City, it will be delivered in
November.
Please be sure to receive it.
Note: For those who have applied for the
mail forwarding service, please note that
this notification will not be forwarded and
be sent to the address appearing in your
resident record.

neighbors have received it already, please wait for a little while.

What are the advantages of the Individual Number Card?
1 You can use it as personal identification.
2 You can use automatic issuing machines that issue certificates such as
resident certificate, personal seal registration certificate and family
registration certificate (only for those who have permanent address in Koka).
3 You can use “e-tax” when making your income- tax return.
4 You can obtain certificates such as resident certificate, personal seal
registration certificates and family registration certificate (only for those who
have permanent address in Koka) at convenience stores in the future.
・The first issuance is free of charge.

The individual Number Card will be issued from January, 2016.
It is required to return the Basic Resident Registration Card, when issuing the Individual
Number Card. (You cannot keep both.)
