OVER SPEED SAFETY GOVERNOR
- Activated if any of the Hoisting ropes
fail, In case unequal stretching of the
ropes or when the downward speed of the
car exceeds a pre-arranged limit by the
action of speed governor.

ELEVATOR MACHINE - Machine
consists of a worm and a wheel
reduction gears enclosed in a suitable
substantial cast iron casing and working
in oil bath electrical motor especially
designed for lift work to give ample
starting torque and specially insulated
to withstand tropical condition. A
powerful automatic electro-mechanical
brake is arranged to work on a strong
coupling between the motor and the
worm gear.




