 Mike Ramirez Sr. “The Godfather” was diagnosed
with ALS in 2009 and fought hard for 3 years.
 In 2010 attended the ALS Research 101 in San
Diego and met Steve Perrin.
 In December of 2010 Team Godfather Foundation
gives ALS TDI its first donation of $50,000
 In 2013 the foundation partners with TDI on the
development of the Bike 4 Mike website.
 In 2014, Team Godfather Foundation gives ALS TDI
another $100,000 at the 10th Annual Leadership
Summit
 In 2015, ALS TDI donates another $100,000 to the
lab, bringing their total contribution to over
$550,000 and total raised to date to over $950,000

The Team Godfather Foundation hosts another
successful Bike 4 Mike ride. Their contributions
bring the total contributions to ALS research to
over half a million dollars.
Team Godfather donates another $100,000! ALS
TDI and Augie’s Quest merge making an even
greater impact on ALS.
The foundation hosts the 2nd annual Bike 4 Mike
and the first Team Godfather Open with
$100,075 benefiting ALS TDI and Augie’s Quest.
Team Godfather hosts Bike 4 Mike and Nine,
Wine & Dine and donates $114,000 to ALS
TDI and Augie’s Quest.
Mike Ramirez Jr. and Jessica Sacks attend the
2011 Leadership Summit and donate a total
of $76,000.
Team Godfather Foundation gives its first
donation a combined $60,000 to ALS TDI and
Augie’s Quest to fund ALS Research.

The Institute enrolled 230 people into the
Precision Medicine Program. The data
generated from the program will help
determine subtypes of people with ALS.
ALS TDI completes Phase IIA clinical trial for
Gilenya in ALS and starts screening pALS for
the Precision Medicine Program.

ALS TDI sponsors and enrolls a phase
IIA clinical trial for Gilenya in ALS.
2012
ALS TDI moves its research facility to
Technology Square, Cambridge, expanding
2.5 times the previous lab space.
2011
ALS TDI moves two drugs forward in clinical
development, one in partnership with Biogen
Idec and UCB Pharma and the other alone.

‘Corey’ the GeneTitan is installed at ALS TDI,
making it the first in Cambridge’s biotech
hub and the only one in the world focused
on a single disease indication.
Scientists publish article in Nature Genetics
about the discovery of ALS TDI 00846 and
the role of the immune pathway in ALS.
