The Parlour at Blagdon is a unique and idyllic venue for your
wedding; this secluded oasis is located on the Blagdon Estate in
Northumberland but only 10 minutes’ drive north of Newcastle.
Tie the knot in our stunning converted smithy and then enjoy your special day in our landscaped
gardens and beautiful Willow room. Our highly professional events team has a wealth of
knowledge and expert hands-on experience which will help you plan and organise your perfect
wedding day with exclusive use from 3 p.m
A rustic, romantic setting with superb food, the highest levels of service, crisp white linens,
a charming, shabby-chic appeal and intimate surroundings make this countrified location
the perfect venue.

Ceremony
The ceremony will take place in our beautiful grade 2 listed converted smithy. With its feature stone walls,
stunning wooden beams and shabby chic décor, it will, without doubt, make your marriage a memorable
occasion. Alternatively you may decide to make use of our beautiful landscaped gardens and patio area for a
unique outdoor twist to your day.
After tying the knot you will then be whisked away to capture the first moments of your married life together
while your guests enjoy cocktails and canapés in our idyllic gardens for your daytime reception.
Daytime Reception
Our idyllic outdoor areas are the perfect surroundings for you and your guests to enjoy reception drinks and
canapés before being invited into the stunning Willow Room for the Wedding Breakfast.
Your own Master of Ceremonies, provided by The Parlour, will guide you seamlessly through the day and attend
to your every need. For your wedding breakfast you can choose from a range of menus, all of which are created
by our dedicated kitchen team and produced using the finest quality ingredients.
The food is fully complimented by our tailored drinks packages to ensure the perfect dining experience
for your special day.
Evening Reception
The Willow Room is both romantic and intimate whilst also being the perfect place for a party.
A fantastic range of drinks are available from the bar and our chefs have once again created the perfect range
of menus for your evening buffet.
Your friends and family will have exclusive use of The Parlour and can enjoy relaxing within our grounds.
You and your guests will enjoy celebrating and dancing late into the evening capping off a truly memorable day.
