Length of Competition
The Gold Passport Promotion starts on Saturday 25th August 2012 and finishes at 2.30pm on Friday 12th
October 2012.
Eligibility for Competition
In order to be eligible for the Competition the following conditions must be met:
a) Eligible Entrants are required to sign up as a Forest Lake VIP and register a Gold Passport, by
completing the Sign Up form in the inside cover of the passport, in full.
b) All passports must be registered and stamped in the box provided, by customer service or centre
management staff. There will be a limit of 2,000 passports available.
c) Customers must be able to produce their passport when redeeming passport vouchers, if required.
d) Passport holders must be aged over 16 and may only hold one passport.
e) To be valid, Entry forms must be stamped by respective retailers at time of purchase. All terms and
conditions on the voucher must be met.
f) Entrants must write their passport number on the entry form and deposit it in the entry barrel
located near Zelows.
g) Specialty Store receipts include all stores except supermarkets, banks, professional services and
Target. Multiple receipts will not be accepted. Valid receipts do not include: EFTs, bill payments or
lottery purchases.
h) A customer may enter the Competition more than once provided it complies with these Terms and
Conditions.
i) Entrants must claim their $15.00 gift vouchers from the centre management office by close of
business (5.00pm) on Friday 12th October.
The Prize Draw
a) The Prize Draw will take place in the centre management office at 2.30pm on Friday 12 October
2012.
b) The first twenty correct entries drawn from the barrel will be deemed to be the winners and will be
informed by telephone. Winners will be required to attend the competition finale on Sunday 14th
October 2012.
c) In the event that an Entry Voucher, when drawn, does not contain complete and legible entrant’s
details, that entry will be disregarded and another entry drawn, until such time as the official event
organiser has drawn twenty correct entries.
d) At the competition finale, winners will draw one of twenty padlock keys from a box. Entrants will
pick a key in the order their Entry Forms were drawn from the entry barrel. Each key will open one
padlock on the prize suitcases. Winners will keep the suitcase and prize.
e) All prizes will require collection from centre management. Collection of prizes is the responsibility
of the winner and no responsibility will be taken for late, unclaimed or lost prize vouchers.
f) Prizes must be claimed by 31st October 2012. In the event that a prize remains unclaimed by 31st
October 2012, the prize will be returned to the marketing department.
g) Forest Lake Shopping Centre Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are not valid at Target,
Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and BWS.
h) An Entry Form is invalid if illegible, forged and incomplete or is a copy of an Entry Form. Entry
Forms that have been tampered with in any way will be invalid.
i) The right to enter the competition is open to all Queensland residents except employees of the
Promoter, tenants of the Centre, the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production,
publishing and administration of the Competition and their Immediate Family. “Immediate Family”
means parents, sibling, spouse, children and grandparents.
j) The judge’s decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and in entering this
promotion you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and accept all of these terms
and conditions.
$500 TRAVEL VOUCHER PRIZE DRAW COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a)
Instructions on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. Participation in this
promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entries must comply with
these Terms and Conditions to be valid.
b)
The prize winner will receive a $500 travel voucher from Create Travel.
c)
$500 TRAVEL VOUCHER PRIZE DRAW entry closes at 6.00pm on Sunday 26th August 2012 and
all valid entries must be deposited in the entry barrel located near Create Travel before the
entry closing time. No responsibility will be accepted for late or misdirected entry forms.
d)
$500 TRAVEL VOUCHER PRIZE DRAW will take place on Monday 27th August 2012 at 11.00am
in the centre management office. The winner will be notified by telephone. Only valid
entries will be accepted. The draw will be random and is not based on skill in any way.
Winners do not need to be present on the day and will be notified by telephone/mail. In the
event that an Entry Form, when drawn, does not contain complete and legible entrant’s
details, that entry will be disregarded and another entry drawn, until such time as the official
event organiser has drawn one correct entry. The first valid/correct entry drawn at random
will be deemed to be the winner.
e)

ONLINE COMPETITION: FACEBOOK PAGE
The Online Gold Passport Code Word Promotion starts on Tuesday 28th August continues on each Tuesday
during the promotion and finishes at midnight on Tuesday 9th October 2012

deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions
to be valid.
a)
To enter, Eligible Entrants must wait for an image of the Gold Passport to appear on the centre’s
Facebook page on each Tuesday during the promotion. Participants must “comment” their
passport number and the relevant code word for the day to enter. The first 10 valid answers will be
deemed the winners.

Winning entrants are not permitted to re-enter the Facebook competition.

Gift Vouchers must be claimed within one week of notification. Unclaimed gift vouchers will be
destroyed. Gift vouchers must be spent by the “valid to” date on the voucher and any additional
conditions listed on the prize voucher must be adhered to. Prize vouchers are not redeemable for
cash.
f)
The Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-refundable, non-transferable and not convertible to
cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize
cannot be awarded as described for any reason.

this promotion, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected
mail.

this promotion, will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and
expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result
of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur:
(a) during the draw;
(b) in the participation in any prize;
(c) due to the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member,
journalist, other entrants or any other person;
(d) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any equipment related to or resulting

In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the
Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these
terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters,
acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the
competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.

this promotion, assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in
operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or
alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not
limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the
control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any
individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
