We are pleased to inform you that 15 World Class Sports Academies have been
established at the Mega Sports Complex, Khelgaon, Ranchi (Jharkhand). The Sports Academies
are a part of the endeavor under the Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (JSSPS), a
Society registered under the joint venture of Central Coalfields Ltd and State Govt. of Jharkhand.
2.
JSSPS now desires to induct suitably qualified Coaches to impart high level coaching to
the cadets of the sports academy in the following Sports disciplines:

SUBJECT: - Notice Inviting Applications for engagement of Coaches,
On contract basis for posting in Jharkhand
Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (CCL – State Govt. Joint initiative) invites application
in the prescribed form the eligible citizens of India for engagement as Coach on purely contract
basis for a period of three years in the following discipline for the Sports Academy at Ranchi.

I- Age: Maximum 55 years as on 30.09.2016.
II- Essential Qualification: Diploma in Coaching from SAI NSNIS Patiala or from any equivalent
recognized Indian/foreign University AND Participation as Coach in Asian Games/ Common
wealth Game / Olympics/ Sr. World Champion.
III- Experience: Minimum 01 (One) year of coaching experience of coaching the National team
in the respective game.
IV- Salary: Consolidated salary of Rs.65, 000/‐ per month for the 1st year, 70,000/‐ per
month for 2nd year and 75,000/‐ per month for 3rd year.
V- Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided at Khelgaon, Ranchi as per availability.
VI- How to Apply: The application form duly filled in the prescribed format along with copy of
testimonials are required to be sent to CEO, Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (CCL‐
State Govt. joint initiative),Khelgaon, Hotwar, Ranchi‐835217, Jharkhand through speed post /
Registered / ordinary post.
VII - Last date for receipt of application: The last date for receipt of application in the office of
the‘CEO, Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (CCL‐ State Govt. Joint initiative) is
31.12.2016. Applications received after due date/through fax/e-mail or without supporting
documents by applicants are liable to be summarily rejected.
VIII – Selection Procedure - Through interview .The interview will be held at Ranchi. The
decision of Local Management Committee (LMC) shall be final and binding on all .
Special Note #
1. The selected Coaches will on probation period for 1 year.
2. The Services of Coach may be extended further by 2 years on the basis of review of their
performances by LMC of JSSPS
3-The engagement of coaches on contract basis will not confer on them any right for absorption
or appointment on regular basis in Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (CCL‐ State
Govt. Joint initiative) or in Govt. of Jharkhand or CCL.
Either party (i.e. Local Management Committee, LMC and the Coach) will have the option to
discontinue the services by giving 03 months notice in advance.
