Best Talent Management initiative
(2000 word limit)
Criteria:
Judges are looking for an organisation that has widely collaborated on talent attraction and management
strategy that has clearly met current objectives and provided significant business benefits.
Judges will be looking for:
1. Introduction (300 words)
a. Set out the background/context/complexity of your organisation, including employee/volunteer
numbers, geographic location etc.
2. Organisational objectives and strategy (200 words)
a. Clearly set out business objectives and strategy
3. Overview of project/solution (800 words)
a. Give a brief overview of your talent management initiative and how it is linked to broader business
strategy
b. How are you (managers and employees) using your HR solution effectively (iTrent and/or
outsourcing) to support your initiative?
4. Impact of talent initiative considering the organisations context (600 words)
a. Evidence of how your initiative has benefitted your organisation and the people within it
b. Evidence direct cost savings, efficiencies and ROI – projected or achieved.
c. How has your initiative supported organisation agility, and what impact will it have on future business
objectives?
d. At least one piece of testimonial evidence from a member of your organisation to support your
achievements
5. Why should you win? (300 words)
a. Using the information in your entry, summarise why your organisation is a deserving winner of this
award, highlighting 2 fundamental points of interest.
