Old_Lady_Poem

There Was An Old Lady
There was an old lady who swallowed a pie. I don’t know why she swallowed a pie.
Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed a turkey. She looked quite murky after that
turkey. She swallowed the turkey to go with the pie. I don’t know why she
swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed some cider. She looked wider after that cider.
She swallowed the cider to moisten the turkey, she swallowed the turkey to go with
the pie. I don’t know why she swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed some stuffing, her cheeks were puffing after
that stuffing. She swallowed the stuffing to go with the cider, she swallowed the
cider to moisten the turkey, she swallowed the turkey to go with the pie. I don’t
know why she swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed a roll. She swallowed it whole, that little roll.
She swallowed the roll to go with the stuffing, she swallowed the stuffing to go with
the cider, she swallowed the cider to moisten the turkey. She swallowed the turkey
to go with the pie. I don’t know why she swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed some pudding then she swallowed some
curding. She swallowed the pudding to go with the roll. She swallowed the roll to
go with the stuffing. She swallowed the stuffing to go with the cider. She swallowed
the cider to moisten the turkey. She swallowed the turkey to go with the pie. I don’t
know why she swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed a table. She had to get hooked up to a cable
after the table. She swallowed the table to go under the pudding. She swallowed the
pudding to go with the roll. She swallowed the roll to go with the stuffing. She
swallowed the stuffing to go with the cider. She swallowed the cider to moisten the
turkey. She swallowed the turkey to go with the pie. I don’t know why she
swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was and old lady who swallowed some Jello. She turned yellow after that
Jello. She swallowed the Jello to sit on the table. She swallowed the table to go
under the pudding. She swallowed the pudding to go with the roll. She swallowed
the roll to go with the stuffing. She swallowed the stuffing to go with the cider. She
swallowed the cider to moisten the turkey. She swallowed the turkey to go with the
pie. I don’t know why she swallowed a pie. Perhaps she’ll die.
There was an old lady who swallowed a basket. What do you know she ended up in
a casket.
