2017 Wednesday Morning Women’s League
Information and Registration Form
Summary:
The 2017 Wednesday Morning Women’s League begins April 26 and continues through
August 23. The season is divided into 2 eight-week sessions. A player may choose to play in
any one or both sessions.

Fees:
$168 ($144 for seniors over 60) per session includes green fee, handicap, administration and prize
fund. Season Ticket holders pay $30 per session for administration and prize fund.
Format:
All play is individual stroke play, net & gross scoring.
Prizes:
Your registration fee includes a $2 weekly prize fund. $1.50 will go to the weekly payout. $.50 will
go to the closest to the pin winners. We will pay out the top 3 net and gross winners each week.
Payouts will be in the form of golf shop credit that may be applied to any purchase including league
fees.
Handicaps:
All players will receive a handicap. Your ending handicap last session will be your beginning
handicap to start a new session. Players receive 90% of handicap. Your last 4 scores are used for your
handicap. No handicap can increase by 2 strokes from one week to the next. Handicaps will be
rounded up to the next whole number (7.5> 8). Maximum 9 hole handicap is 24.
Tee Times:
Tee times will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Please select your tee time preference
between 8:00am and 10:00am on the registration form. We must receive your registration with
payment before your time is assigned. Current members of the league have priority on tee times.
Rules
Women may choose which tee they play from week 1. After that, you must play that tee the rest of
the league. Preferred lies in your own fairway. The ball must be holed (no gimmes). 10 is the
maximum score you can take on any hole.
Weather:
In the event that the course becomes unplayable due to heavy rain or lightning, play for that morning
will be cancelled. Players will be notified by email by 7:00am. If more than 50 % of the field finishes
during inclement weather there will be no make-up. All players should be prepared to play if showers
are in the forecast.
Makeups:

There are no makeups. Players must make a commitment to play on Wednesdays. In fairness to the
all players must play under the same conditions. If you miss a week due to illness or vacation we will
issue you a rain check to play any weekday, however, it will not count towards league play. You must
request this from the league manager.
Etiquette:
Please be ready to strike the ball at your scheduled start time. Avoid slow play, keep it moving, no
round of golf should take more than 2 hours and 15 minutes. Please repair your ball marks, replace
your divots and never climb the steep grass slopes of a bunker. Golf cars must be kept on paths on all
par 3 holes.
