PLEASE ENSURE ALL PLAYERS & OFFICIALS ARE AWARE OF CARNIVAL RULES - SO EVENT CAN RUN SMOOTHLY:
1.
FIXTURE RULES - as per “AUSTRALIAN NETBALL RULE BOOK”
2.
Games will be 2 halves and centrally timed. NO INJURY TIME.
3.
Teams must SUPPLY A COMPETENT ADULT UMPIRE or a Junior with Assoc. or National Badge where indicated on
Fixture Sheet. They must be suitably dressed and in correct footwear. Designated umpires to be court side 2 MINUTES
BEFORE GAME. If a team requires assistance with umpiring, please contact your local association or club.
4.
SCORECARDS – WILL BE AT COURT SIDE. WINNING TEAM TO RETURN SCORE SHEET ONLY. Each team to SUPPLY A
SCORER TO SCORE THEIR OWN GAME. Scorers must sit together throughout entire game and SCORE ALL OF THE
GAME.
5.
UNIFORMS – Must be SAME STYLE & COLOUR unless permission has been sort from organising committee prior to the
event.
6.
FINGERNAILS - Must be cut short - NO TAPING, NO GLOVES - NO JEWELLERY, BODY PIERCING, HAIR COMBS or
HARD BRIMMED HATS (Soft brimmed hats are permitted.)

Teams may borrow players from LOWER GRADES IN THEIR OWN CLUB ie must have same name and NOT FROM
OTHER TEAMS FROM YOUR ASSOCIATION. Once a player has played three (3) games in higher grade she must remain
IN THE HIGHER GRADE. If a club has 2 teams in the same division, players are not allowed to swap teams ie they must
only play in the team they are registered. Teams can use only TEN(10) players over the weekend

At the conclusion of the competition, and if there is a TIE ON POINTS, the team with the HIGHEST GOAL AVERAGE
SHALL BE DECLARED THE WINNER. POINT SCORE – WIN 3, DRAW 2, LOSS 1, FORFEIT 0. If teams have 10 players,
notify the region after presentation so additional ones can be ordered.
9.
Teams wishing to ADD OR DELETE PLAYERS from Registration Card, MAY DO SO up to 11.00am on Saturday.
Replacement players must be of an equal standard or younger as the teams have been graded with the names supplied.
New registrations WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS TIME. Replacement player forms have been emailed to all
team contacts (do not email forms).
10. The Committee reserves the right to RE GRADE TEAMS & ALTER TIMES, should the need arise. The committee has the
right to change game times etc. so if you leave the courts for any reason, make sure you are able to be contacted.
11. Canteen facilities WILL BE AVAILABLE. (HOT & COLD FOOD) Menu available Some shade shelter available
12. SPORTS MEDICINE - Will be available. Teams should have OWN FIRST-AID KIT, strapping tape will be for sale.
13. Nine (9) Winners & Runners Up Trophies will be presented in each division at the presentation following the last round.
There will be incident and injury forms on scoreboards. All team managers should have player medical history forms.
