"It's All In The Game" Afternoon Tea
St. James’s Hotel & Club will be offering an exciting Board Game Afternoon Tea concept, called
"It’s All In The Game", designed by Executive Head Chef, William Drabble.
The theme of the afternoon tea is based around original board games, including traditional
favourites such as: Snakes & Ladders, Backgammon, Chess, Monopoly, Scrabble, Dominoes and
Ludo, all available to play at the hotel.
Monopoly Top Hat
Dark chocolate hat filled with mango cremant, set on a gluten-free dark chocolate sponge.
Chess Board
Chocolate and vanilla shortbread looking like a chess board filled with a dulcey ganache (caramalised
white chocolate) topped with a dulcey chocolate chess piece.
Dice
Gluten-free Battenberg sponge cake with apricot jam, wrapped in luxury marzipan, finished with white
chocolate crispy biscuit pearls (contain gluten), topped with a white chocolate dice.
Poker Card
Layers of sponge filled with buttercream, finished with Marzipan, white chocolate poker card.
Dominoes
All butter shortbread biscuit, topped with a white chocolate cheesecake, glazed with a white chocolate
jelly, topped with dark chocolate crispy biscuit pearls.
Homemade Scones
Fruit and plain, clotted cream, homemade strawberry jam.
Sandwiches
Egg mayonnaise with mustard cress on white bread
Ham sandwich on brown bread
Smoked salmon sandwich on brown bread
Cream cheese and cucumber sandwich on white bread
Children's sandwiches (all on white bread)

Homemade lemon curd
Homemade strawberry jam
