QTISOC
 The group requested a total of $800
 Their previous budget was $500
 They need a larger budget for food for their conference and advertising
 The group has at least three events a year that provide food
 Willing to compromise on line item ‘retreat food’
 Jimenez-Gomez moved to allocate $100 for food for conference $75 day
retreat $100 food for day retreat $300 for food for recruitment $50 for
copy and printing. Seconded

Women’s Law Forum
 The group discussed their budget
 They will cut line item ‘dress for success’
 Committee members were concerned about the documentary event line item
being $633
 Members agreed to amend it to $500 to cover room rental for documentary
showings and documentary rights, decreased to $400
 Allison moved to allocate in stipends $2700, $10 for copy and printing
$50 for welcome event, food for welcome $650, food for luncheon $185,
Roosevelt rush $600, food for Roosevelt rush, $350 CLE fund, $400
documentary, $400 food for documentary, $200 panel event, $250 food
for panel event $250. Seconded

 The group discussed their budget proposal


The group needs an increase for a conference in Oregon
In the past the group has spent out of pocket to cover events and conference
travelling
Allison moved to allocate to conference $500. Seconded

 The group discussed their budget proposal
 They requested a 22% increase for their annual conference
 Advertising and printing costs are new to this years budget, the new line item
would be $1200
 The group has gone to surplus multiple times this year to fund their
conference
 The group wants $2000 for t-shirts for general promotional purposes, which
is against ASUO rules
 Exec rec for an increase for a total of $1800
 The group will cut the funds for t-shirts
 Allison moved to allocate for copy and printing $1200, conference $600.

Ad club
 The group discussed their budget proposal
 They wanted to increase their transportation budget to travel to a
competition, line item will be moved to admin which will cause them to move
down a stipend class
 Stipends are being cut from $4000 to $1800
 Allison moved to allocate for stipends $900, ad night $130, food for ad
night $370, major night $40, food for major night $250, competition
$8400. Seconded

SEASA
 The group discussed their budget proposal
 Increase for food budgets
 First year getting ASUO funding
 The group has spent out of pocket in the past and is requesting $540 even
though the new group threshold is $500
 Charleton moved to allocate to copy and printing $20, food for outreach
$170, food for cultural event $200, food for open house $60, contracts

 The group discussed their budget proposal
 The requested an increase for promotion of their outreach project
 Exec rec was for a decrease of the total budget
 The full request could not be granted

Summer project t-shirts were recommended to be cut
Last year the group received an increase of over $5000
PFC Members can give a freeze, but it will be reallocated in different line
items

summer project $750, food for cpla summer project $50, retreat $200,
