Declaration:
As the Oaks Campsite is a Scout Campsite and Activity Centre all users must agree to
abide by the Scout Association’s child protection code of practice. This code is contained
in the “Young people first” card.
In particular it must be understood that any
contravention of the code of practice could lead to the Scout Association initiating its
own reporting and referral procedures.
Prior to any bookings being accepted at the Oaks Campsite the following declaration
must be completed and signed.
I accept the Scout Association’s Child protection code of practice
and agree that the party I am leading will abide by it. I also confirm
that all adults in my party have been deemed as suitable to work with
children and young people by my own organisation.

abseiling down the front face. However due to staff restrictions there may be some
occasions when we can offer climbing only.
