Cold Finished, Annealed, High Strength Alloy Bar
Kromite Cold Drawn is a high strength, cold
finished, annealed alloy bar. It is available in
squares, flats and hexagons and can be produced
to your specific cut lengths or supplied in full
lengths up to and including 26 foot.
Kromite Cold Drawn offers distinct advantages
when compared to other tool room and maintenance
department steels. It is easy to machine, can be
further heat treated and has close tolerances as
furnished. Kromite Cold Drawn is an excellent
replacement for commercial “cold roll” which is
typically just mild or carbon steel.
Kromite Cold Drawn typically is used for heavy
industrial applications such as: jigs, fixtures, rails,
tool shanks, and various machine parts.
