Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education Student Awards and Scholarships 2017 Selection Procedures Also available on GAGE website: http://gwinnettgifted.org/ The Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education is pleased to announce that we will once again sponsor the Student of the Year (SOY) awards, Summer Scholarships and Graduating Senior Scholarships for students of the GCPS Gifted Program. Recipients will receive invitations and be recognized at the awards ceremony on April 25, 2017, at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center in Buford. GAGE Student of the Year Award Each school in GCPS may select a student who has made the most of experiences in the gifted program, has made a positive impact on the learning experiences of others, and/or has served the school in significant ways. Each school will determine the criteria and process by which the student will be selected. School will send the 1) student’s name as it should appear on the certificate plus 2) phonetic pronunciation along with 3) name of the school and 4) contact teacher for student to [email protected] by March 22, 2017. Instructions for all essay submissions for scholarship applications: Put your 1) name, 2) student number, 3) school, and 4) homeroom teacher on your essay. Submit typed essay responding to the appropriate prompt given below, 300 words or less, to your school, since there is a limit of two submissions per school.
