NOTICE TO GOLFERS
Participants in the 2017 AMLA Golf Scramble agree to abide by the following rules and regulations.
GOLF SCRAMBLE RULES
~Each team can be made up of no more than four persons, but may be less than four.
~Each member of the scramble team hits tee shot on each hole. All men will hit from the white tees while all women will hit from the red
tees. The team then chooses the best tee shot and all team members again hit from the shot selected. The team then continues to choose
the best shot, including on the green, until the ball is holed. When off the green, the team should hit their next shot from within two club
lengths from the shot selected, no closer to the hole. You can move the ball from the rough to the fairway if within two club lengths of the
shot selected. You can also move the ball from the fairway or rough to the green if the green is within two club lengths of the shot selected
as long as the ball is not moved closer to the hole. When on the green, the team shall hit their putts from within one putter width (3 or 4
inches) of the shot selected as long as the ball is not closer to the hole.
~In a scramble, only one score is recorded for each hole for each team.
~Once the team chooses a particular shot and picks up the remaining balls, the team cannot change and use one of the other player’s shots.
~Tie scores for the team prizes will be broken based on a hole to hole comparison starting with hole #1 (the team with a lower score on a
particular hole wins the tiebreaker).
REGULATIONS
~Those who provide email addresses will receive notifications via email. ~No refund of fees after Friday, June 1, 2017.
~Partial foursomes will be combined with others if possible. ~Additional prizes sponsored by AMLA & its Lodges.
~Total payment must accompany the entry form to the AMLA Home Office by Friday, June 1, 2017.
